This is a much better map for driving gesturing a load of great options that beats both google and Apple Maps, however I’ve been taken to the wrong place many many times using this over Google, and so went back to auld faithful Google Maps, which doesn’t get me lost.

I don’t see any reason why use this instead of Google Maps. Frustrating to get around, incorrect info, missing most parking places, no refuel or recharge planning, and most of all, I’m not interested in seeing speed cameras or speed enforcement zones all over the map and I can’t turn it off. Super low map contrast (grey on grey, yay - what a great idea!), so I can’t see the map properly while driving. I never know what to press to do what I want to do. Sometimes I can avoid toll roads, and I can’t avoid motorways on specific trips and I can’t find a way for to do it. Doesn’t show the biggest and the most obvious car parks. I won’t renew my subscription.

### **--- "I really wanted to like this App, but…"
I had been thinking about getting this App for a while, but in my head I couldn’t justify spending money on an App like this, while Apple Maps, Google and Waze are free. 
I took the plunge and was sorry almost straight away. I went to put in my Home location, I entered my postcode / EirCode and it showed on in the map as being on the street behind me, so I went back, re-entered my code, same result.
 I was determined to give the App a good try, I was heading away for the weekend, so used it exclusively. The directions given, particularly at roundabouts, but also in other locations are unnecessarily complex, leading to confusion. The Pronunciation, compared to other Nav Apps is awful, even managing to mispronounce “Cork” which is pretty basic. When the App was notifying of an upcoming turn, it would tell me “in “X” amount of metres, turn Right” sometimes to looked to be about that distance, sometimes it was maybe half the distance it said it would be, so no consistency. 
I genuinely don’t see why this App is worth paying for, I’m going back to my freebies, they are in my opinion every bit as good (apart from with Tom, your country map is downloaded to your device.

I was curious to see how TomTom is coming back to the market they’ve lost to Google, Waze, Maps.Me, Osmand and others. After 3 hours it finally finished downloading map of Ireland over 240Mb broadband and requested me to subscribe to a paid plan in order to start 7day trial. Here I realized that it already lost 2 points to other apps I’m using over years, and removed.

System works well, however it does not always take the shortest route.
It likes to include motor ways when not required.
Re routing can take a while if I do not go on selected route that includes motor way, keeps trying to bring me to motor way.
I like the heavy traffic warnings but it should re route if possible

I’ve tried to get a simple route from kinsale road to bandon road round about and from beginning was guide me wrong and on route where was supposed to show limit speed of 100km/h was show me 120km/h speed limit so no point to be used unless will improve all this small errors.

How can you charge a monthly subscription for a navigation service that has no voice search when free navigation apps have it? You literally have to stop the car to search anything, also there's no search categories like shopping, restaurants etc. The  navigation voice also talks far too much, repeating an upcoming roundabout about 3 times in total. Very hard to justify paying for a navigation app that lacks so much.

I’m enjoying using the App and it works fine. It needs Electric Charging Points on the Route Bar instead of Petrol Stations. I need to plan where to charge my car on my route.

Initially the app was fantastic. Now it doesn’t open now unless I switch off my phone then turn back on. Then the app opens. However, when I use the app later on the same day, app doesn’t open. Very bad for a pay service. Other free navigation apps work perfectly, so what is the problem with this app?

Second issue, following the recent update my TomTom go navigation will not let me search, will not allow me to select & activate preset destinations, recent places, go home or go to work. Only customer service is a bot. What is going on? This is totally unacceptable for a paid for premium service!!!
