Traditional Animation

I switched to toonsquid from flipaclip and im really happy about that, im never going back to flipaclip ever again lol toonsquid has a lot more brushes and features etc but 2 things that really got on my nerves while using this app has to be the fact that i cant copy and paste multiple frames …i can only do one and its really time consuming. Theres also an incredibly annoying glitch where if the space im trying to color in is really big i will just NOT be able to color it in with the coloring tool unless I do it myself with the brush option 😭😭😭 these are 2 really important things for me which I use so im really bummed about that. Also, its a bit hard to get a hang of so i have to watch lots of tutorials but once you get used to it its really good! Other than those 2 issues at least… im looking forward to updates

### ****- "Exciting potential"
ToonSquid may be my favourite hand drawn animation app for the iPad yet. It feels like it was made with artists in mind, and it feels natural to animate in. There are some things I’d love to see in future updates though, to make me more comfortable choosing this app over all that desktop offers, and they’ve almost all got to do with controls. I’d love for there to be more classic keyboard shortcuts, ones we recognise from pretty much all other art apps and programs. It feels very strange to work without them, especially rudimentary ones like command-t for the transform tool. It’s also very hard to understand how I save a project? After a while of working the app will tell me to back my project up, but it’s very disruptive and I’d much rather just be able to click command-s to save like in any other program. If that does work, the app doesn’t tell you and it’s hard to gauge any effect. 

In any case, I’m very happy to have this app and am really hopeful for future upgrades.
