Toot! for Mastodon

Have been trying multiple different apps and I keep coming back to Toot! Simple clean interface, clear and easy sharing and editing tools, easy to switch between instances. And I can now follow hashtags from within the app I stress of having to go to the desktop. Only thing I would like would be an icon badge to let me know how many unread notifications I have.

Give Toot! a look. It costs a dollar or two here in Canada. I went back and left a bigger tip. Worth it 🧵Most of the Twitter-clone Mastodon apps look alike, but Toot! Has a very cool sidebar thread-visualizer that shows how posts are connected and where you are in a conversation It shows you who is talking, how many people are there, and who they are talking to Very clever! And not intrusive, but I find myself in other apps feeling lost without it Highly recommended 🦣

I enjoy using Toot except the wheel to change timelines. I often use the phone in my left hand and can’t reach the wheel on the right with my thumb. When swiping the wheel with my right thumb, I often accidentally minimize the app as system interprets the swipe as a swipe up instead. In addition, I find the transition animation kind of jarring. I would love to have an alternative to timeline changing.

There is no “edit” for toots in Pleroma instance. Why?Though in a Mastodon instance I have that button for my toots. “Report a bug” leads to a 404 GitHub page.

Of all the Mastodon this one is the best. - fast - lots of features built in that are useful - great for reading as you can select whatever feed very quickly - after following the developer has a good basis for what the future of the program holds.

By far my favourite mastodon app to use. The aesthetic is lovely and it truly is full of character and whimsy in the most wonderful way!

This app obviously has had a lot of love and work put in to it but I don’t understand why the main actions (boost, favorite, etc) are just text buttons instead of icons. It’s hard to process at a glance, and doubly confusing since this app is made by a company who specifically advertises their icon packs within the app.

Was looking for a mastodon client and heard name said. Would net even find my server. Turns out others were suggesting tooot (notice 3 o’s). I would take a refund as this is borderline squatting on a name.

Censorship. I’m also against that kind of content your are blocking but I don’t think this is to the developers of a decentralized protocol to chose what the user can’t see. I want a refund.

I love everything about it – if the dev could add options for enlarging text, it would make it easier for me to use. Well done!
