Toot! for Mastodon

Toot! Is a good app to access mastodon with lot of quirky features and stuff but sadly the app is no longer maintained so beware before purchasing, also any sort of technical help is also not available as the developer has gone silent on their mastodon accounts. Otherwise great app if the UI doesn’t bother you when compared to apps like Ivory or Mammoth.

This is one of the best apps! I have been using it on iPad for many months and it has been so nice. It is the little things like animations, icons etc that make me smile.

Really clumsy design and workflow.

Really nice app but keep crashing too often. I have to reinstall to make it work after crash.

Just got this app a few days ago and I love it! It’s made the Mastodon experience even more fun. You can tell the developer put a lot of love and attention into it, because it shows!

I’ve been using Toot! (after trying other apps) for nearly two years and LOVE it. It does (almost) everything I could ask for as a Mastodon/Fediverse user, and it does it without any apparent bugs. The one exception is not limiting posts to a specific designated language — unless I just can’t find that setting. I know I can select a language on the Mastodon app, but that setting doesn’t flow through to Toot! (Is there a fix?) Otherwise it’s a 10/10.

I’ve tried Ivory, but Toot! fits my mental model of Mastodon best. The simple controls at the bottom while having the fast-account-switching is 💯

This is the best social media app I’ve ever used. It’s really intuitive and runs smoothly. It’s probably the most used app on my iPad. Please could you expand it to run on MacBooks, that would be grand.

Novel and easy to use interface, it used to be my favorite mastodon app just because of how it works. Unfortunately no media playback controls mean you can’t scrub video.
