We've listened for the past 10 years and we've re-written the application from the ground up - with speed, features and usability in mind. A GPU-powered, fast and advanced integrated editor is part of TouchOSC on all platforms - create the most complex of control layouts with ease and precision.

MIDI, OSC and more...

TouchOSC supports sending and receiving any number of MIDI and OSC messages on many connections simultaneously. On top of OSC over UDP & TCP, we support every type of wired & wireless MIDI connection your device can offer, including MIDI over USB.

Cross-Network. Synchronized editing.

Multiple instances of TouchOSC can be connected on the network for synchronized editing. Use the precision of your desktop's mouse and keyboard for fine-grained, detailed editing - test-drive and preview in real-time on all connected touch-screen devices at the same time.

Scripting and local messages.

A lightweight and fast scripting engine allows deep access to all aspects of your controller and enables limitless customization and interactivity. For less complex tasks we've added local messages - simply wire up controls to transmit or display values; no need to break out the big (code) guns. Easy.

This is only the beginning...

We've supported and updated TouchOSC Mk1 for more than 10 years and we're planning to do the same for this new version. We've already got a whole bunch of features cooking that were just not quite ready yet. There is so much more to come...

### ***** "Great Tool For Live Use"
TouchOSC is a great tool. It’s completely customisable and configurations can be adapted to your desired outcomes especially, if you know what you’re doing when it comes to midi.   They could probably make the process  a bit more easier especially when it comes to mass editing. However I’ve been pleased with it so far. I don’t even take my midi controller for ableton to gigs anymore.  Just my iPad and my laptop!

### ****- "It’s good when you start to understand…"
I’m using it alongside Audiobus 3 and StreamByter to connect keyboards to each other (via a USB MIDI interface) and to iPad instruments. I reckon you need all three of these to be completely versatile. The keyboards I am connecting are limited in their facilities and these three apps compensate for that and allow me to play iPad sounds as well, with everything under control.

The manual is factually correct, but it’s one of those that you only understand after you *really* understand. It’s not a how-to guide, it’s a reference. I recommend YouTube videos by Tim Corpus, which explain TouchOSC in some detail.

### ***** "Indispensable"
Long time user of both v1 and the current version. Really couldn’t do without it. I mostly use it as a midi controller. It’s very easy to knock together a basic control interface for quick, one off projects. More in depth, considered interfaces take more time to build and the learning curve can be steep. But it’s still a lot simpler to me than Lemur ever was.  Really good support too

### ***** "The best OSC app by far"
Having tried a few others, the new TouchOSC is significantly better than other OSC apps. It is cross platform and is being actively developed. Being able to edit and share layouts across multiple devices is an awesome feature.

This is a very useful app, but the editor is what I’d call 'Clunky' and mass editing is not at all friendly, that’s not to say the editor doesn’t have some excellent features because it does and visually creating your design layout is very easy. However if you have time / taken the time to think about your work flow in TouchOSC you can make future edits to OSC address and build a little less painful. It’s not my favourite OSC touch controller but it’s my favourite in the App Store, for most people I know it’s is the one I’d not hesitate to recommend as it’s far less technically challenging than other options yet still really powerful and you can do some really cool stuff with this app.

### ***** "This solves all the limitations of the original TouchOSC"
Ignore the 1 star reviews. The connections both for editing and controlling other programs and hardware are solid and reliable.  

It runs on almost any platform, desktop or mobile, and you can edit on multiple devices simultaneously.

The functionality without using scripts allows things that required really complex scripting in programs like Lemur to be achieved easily.

The documentation could be much better, and the fact that I wasn’t even aware this new version existed for 5 months, and the small number of reviews here is a reflection on the lack of effective promotion.

But potentially this could be the last word in OSC and MIDI controller software.

I’ll need to give it a rigorous workout before using it for mission critical projects. But so far I’m really, really impressed.
