It basically doesn’t work. Unless you subscribe I guess, but I don’t want to subscribe before checking how well it works, and you can’t do that. Can’t download area data and all I get is a huge sign telling me to upgrade over the map, no thank.
I found it confusing to use, prompt to subscribe everywhere, maybe show me what app can do before asking for subscription or having to activate trial? or just make the app paid
No version for Apple Watch, which would make a lot of sense. For the price, I would expect to have the watch support for maps and navigation. Also the application stops tracking on a phone by itself during the ride, which makes it useful only as a map.

First it was community driven project where people fed data of trails to the app and then surprise surprise corporation bought it and now is trying to milk it. Pro tip: if you want are riding multiple locations and don’t want to pay for the pro. Just delete and redownload the app and don’t sign in. You’ll be able to select new region for free every time. Con: you won’t have your data/tracking etc.

I really like Trailforks overall, but the lack of a standalone Watch App is a real bummer. Many of us want to be able to go out and log a ride without taking our phones with us. With the latest stunt Strava pulled with sharing data between platforms, a native Trailforks watch App is becoming even more of a necessity !!

Paid for 6 months, canceled the auto renew and now cannot use premium. They want me to pay for another 6 months again even if you only use one
