Trailforks: Offline Bike Maps

After now having to sign up to “outside +” to use trail forks I’m constantly getting emails from them despite me never allowing them to send me emails and despite me constantly changing my subscriptions preferences!

It is really good and useful to see all the trails around you and to see how the trails are

The website is great, but I can’t give more stars because the Trailforks app does not have maps for the UK

I press ‘discover’ and get a blank screen. Despite having selected an area where I know there are trails. Grrrr.

Trailforks itself is great, giving people the ability to find hidden trails and routes anywhere in the world but I’ve not had an app experience this bad since about 2010. It’s incredible poorly implemented. It won’t let me downloads any area maps (it just spins for about 30mins), when I go to save a GPX files there doesn’t seem to be an actually ‘save’ button. If I go to send to my Garmin instead there’s a button asking me to connect my Garmin account that does nothing and doesn’t seem to give any indication of how I connect my account. There are dead end user journeys and sketchy functionality everywhere. Asking for £35 a year for trail maps is fair enough but not if this is the app your given to use. Really frustrating.

Do not purchase if using in the UK. Useles

50% increase in price is over the top. £25 for app on previous years now jumps to £37 a year. Your greed just lost you a subscriber.

Had Trailforks for a while and love it. Great for finding new places to go.

Way too expensive now as they reduce the free content. It was great now greed has ruined it I would pay for it at a reasonable price
