I have been looking for a game and so far in my searches I have found 2 games that reach my expectations of greatness. Before I found this game I came across trainstation 2 which is wonderful, I wanted to see if there were even more creative games similar to trainstation 2 and I have finally come across a lovely game like this. It goes in extreme depth and that’s exactly what I was looking for, I will play for a very long time and I don’t believe I will get bored anytime soon. I like that there are so many options in this game. Games like this are what keep the AppStore as great as what we would all like (to my knowledge I know people would have strong thoughts against my belief in this game but I will not stop). I hope that the youth (like me) will get more interested in trains or make people more confident in expressing there love for trains because of how inspiring this game is. This game is perfect for people who like trains and for anyone out there looking for a game that goes into detail about trains I hope you come across this review. I think more people should play this because it is exquisite. I hope anyone who works for this game acknowledges the existence of my review and I hope that it will change the perspective of people who might not like this game very much. Even more worrying was the fact that foolishly I had not noted/recorded my ID, a situation exacerbated by my playnig under this ID rather than personalising my game with a name (either real or invented). Very fortunately having contacted “Support” via “Settings” I was reassured to receive a sympathetic and understanding response from the support team within a couple of hours. Long story short, after providing as many details of my game as possible, including a screenshot of the receipt of an in game purchase, Rado and colleagues were ultimately able to confirm, after a couple of days, that my game had been traced and were able to restore my access to my original game at the current level. The moral of this story is that even in these unpromising circumstances, the support team are easily accessible, and will do their best to overcome any technical difficulties experienced. From a personal viewpoint it also emphasises that it is obviously sensible to keep a note of your Game ID and furthermore it is advisable to access this game perhaps every other day as I only experienced a problem when I stopped playing on a daily basis. The following is my original observations on this game, some 2 years ago, revised to reflect subsequent changes. This is graphically attractive strategy game, despite the 2D format, which you can play at your leisure without any time constraint (I’ve been playing now for 34 months) but without any meaningful objective other than to acquire as many trains as you run/store representing the 5 eras of steam,diesel, electric, and the futuristic maglev and hyperloop. The historical trains are all reproduced with commendable attention to detail, and with informative notes about their manufacture and use, which I trust would satisfy most train buffs. However what the game lacks is an ultimate sense of purpose. Have even spent money on it. (More than I should have). I’ve always enjoyed doing the monthly contracts since they had good rewards including buildings and two whole train sets. Recently this changed so each contract paid out a number of “tokens” that you collect in order to buy the rewards. A full train set costs 1000’s of tokens. Also some contracts would pay out gems (the premium currency) but it’s this new system no longer does. It might just be me, but it’s taken the enjoyment out of it. And as for buying gems or special offer trains you have to pay up to £90 to make it worthwhile. I know they are in business to make money but how can they justify such high prices. I played this game for six months before I became slightly addicted and knew then it was time to stop. The nice thing about the game is there’s a lot of nice friendly people on Facebook playing regularly and if you join some of the many Facebook groups dedicated to this game you will make friends for sure. Overall it is a very good game, that’s not constantly looking for your money, I just found it a bit repetitive in the end but maybe that’s just me.
