Here are all the ways you can get triggering:
Sensor modes:

Timelapse modes:

HDR modes:
• LE HDR - Long exposure HDR sets with up to 19 exposures

Along with all of these, there are a variety of other cable release modes, including Simple Cable Release, Self Timer and Press and Lock options, and timed exposures up to 100 hours long! We also have a handy Solar Calculator to find out the sunrise and sunset times wherever you are, and an ND Calculator to ensure your exposures are just the right length when using neutral density filters.
To connect your iOS device to your camera buy a Triggertrap Mobile Dongle separately. See the Triggertrap website for a list of supported cameras, and for more information. Currently more than 300 camera models are supported, with support added for new cameras all the time.
Long Exposure HDR (LE-HDR) mode supports shutter speeds from several hours down to 1/15th second, and can do up to 19 bracketed shots with 1/3, 1/2, 1 or 2 EV steps.

Triggertrap werkt zeer goed. Maakt het mogelijk om bijvoorbeeld vuurwerk te fotograferen telkens een vuurpijl een knal geeft. In de handen klappen volstaat om de DSLR te ontspannen. Getimede opnamen werken perfect. Vooral handig om niet in een onmogelijke houding te moeten staan of liggen voor opnamen dicht bij de grond bijvoorbeeld. Een extra draadontspanner meenemen is niet nodig, het draadje en een smartphone volstaan. Alleen jammer dat je de camera niet op autofocus kunt gebruiken. Even aan denken voor je een opname maakt, dus.

Deze komt stukken te laat om mijn flitsen te op geluid te triggeren.
Jammer van het geld voor de adapter.

Zeer gebruiksvriendelijke app, die qua timlapse toepassingen zijn gelijke niet kent ! Zeer uitgebreid en toch simpel maakt het maken van professionele timlapses kinderspel! Wel de dongle aanschaffen !

Works with iPhone 13 Pro
Just use the lightning to headphone adapter. The triggertrap with the attached cable plugs into it.
I had it backwards using the small cable extension to headphone cable.
I just wish this app was updated so we can use the iPhone camera so we can use external flash. I’d love to set the iso, shutter, aperture on the iPhone app and connect it with an external flash. Maybe use the slow motion video to determine the sync delay so when the app fires, it captures the flash!
I’m sure more triggers would sell if that was possible!!!
Doesn’t work with iOS 14
Please update the app. It doesn’t do anything with my iPhone X using iOS 14.
Excellent App
We have used nearly every feature in this app with the TriggerTrap Dongle, TriggerTrap flash adapter, and Canon cameras.
We have been able to catch pellets in mid-air as they exit a water balloon, photograph multiple angles at the same moment of a balloon bursting from a pellet, the HDR settings, time-lapse, and more.
I have contacted TriggerTrap support asking for specific information regarding actual flash delay on my specific phone, the iPhone 6+. A response came immediately stating they would check into it and then a day later I had the average durations with airplane mode enabled and disabled. Really can't beat that level of service.
We have used the TriggerTrap flash adapter with Yongnuo flashes and triggers without issue.
I highly recommend this app and accessories for your photographic needs.

Great idea, until you try to use it, and then find you have to buy a 30 odd dollar connector for your camera to work.
