Trip.com: Book Flights, Hotels

Don’t book here its a scam. Very poorly managed

This has been the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had with a service provider. I booked a 7-seater car through Trip.com to take my in-laws to Melbourne Airport. The booking included 1 large box over 24 inches, 2 smaller boxes under 24 inches, and 2 small hand luggages. A 7-seater car should have been more than sufficient for this. Since it was an urgent booking, there was no option for a refund. After confirming my booking, DOOLER contacted me, claiming their 7-seater car couldn’t accommodate the luggage and demanded an extra $60 CASH only or Alipay, to upgrade to a bigger car. If I refused, they threatened to cancel the trip entirely. I have tried to asked what is your car model, how can a 7 seater car cannot accomodate 2 people with these luggages, but they did not give me the answer. I reached out to Trip.com for assistance. Initially, a representative said they couldn’t help. Later, another representative called back and proposed a compromise: DOOLER would transport 2 people and the limited luggage, while I arranged another taxi for the remaining items. Reluctantly, I agreed to this solution. However, a representative from DOOLER called again, rudely insisting I pay the $60 upgrade fee upfront or risk paying over $100 when the car arrived. The man was incredibly impolite and pushy, clearly attempting to pressure me into paying more or canceling so they could keep the money without providing any service. I explained multiple times that I had already agreed with Trip.com’s proposed solution and asked them to follow their policy by picking up 2 people and 2 pieces of luggage over 24 inches. Despite this, the representative kept demanding I confirm arrangements for the rest of the luggage, which was none of their business. The interaction was exhausting and unsettling. Finally, as his request, I have arranged another taxis. Suprisingly, this 5 seater taxi can handle my parent and all of their lugguage, and their PREMIUM VAN helped us to handle a small bag to the airport. This level of unprofessionalism and blatant greed is unacceptable, and they got plenty of bad reviews, I wonder why Trip.com cannot have the second service provider for such type of service. I would strongly advise against using DOOLER, and Trip.com.

Trip.com have really good customer service, i been with other app more then 15y I deleted all other apps and just stay with trip.com app nothing better then this ,

En cuestión de 20 minutos tuve que seleccionar y re seleccionar el vuelo más de 8 veces y completar mis datos porque me interrumpían a cada rato con “prices May change please select another Flight” es imposible así! La verdad, cualquiera. Nunca más con ustedes.

I am one of the loyal customers with trip. I really loved in the beginning but unfortunately the prices is so different. When I put a date give me cheap price when I just hit the search button it’s give me higher prices. I am not happy with it and disappointed. If I make any check and the app suddenly increases the prices. Really disappointing that because sometimes we check maybe we found cheaper prices with a good time for as.

In Australia trip give me US dollar price. Looks like cheap. When you pay. Big different. More than others

Such a heart breaking event. They couldn’t shift one flight to fix an issue even for a fee. Lost $$$$$ not happy actually devastating. You guys suck!
