Cancellation policy is really bad I didn’t recommend for future costumers.
I made a hotel reservation and I needed to change the dates. I tried many times to change it, but the site automatically declined. When trying to reach customer service only got access to a machine, confirming that changes were not allowed. They took six days reservation payment. Totally unacceptable.
They sell tickets cheap then won’t let you check in online unless you pay for seats or pay a fee at the airport. What a scam. The app should allow you to directly check in without paying for a seat.
You want the notifications in case they need to contact you about your trip, but expect endless spam the whole time.

Everything is expensive, I tried to check the price in AGoDa it is more way cheaper that this app. Like 20% cheaper

I booked a round-trip flight on Trip.com for my daughter from Tokyo to Hakodate. After I paid, Trip.com sent me a confirmation number and receipt, so I believed everything was confirmed. However, when my daughter arrived at the airport, the airline said that the ticket from Tokyo to Hakodate had not been issued. Trip.com never informed us about this problem. She only found out at the airline counter, and by then, the flight was full and she had nowhere to go. Only the return flight from Hakodate to Tokyo had been issued. Because of this, she had to cancel the entire trip. This is a completely unacceptable and unprofessional business practice. Trip.com should not send confirmation emails if the ticket is not actually issued, and they should notify customers immediately of any issues. Very disappointing experience.
When adding baggage allowance for a round trip flight, it wasn’t clear to me it was per flight, and I ended up purchasing checked baggage for each passenger for one flight, and none for the return flight. I only wanted one bag total for each flight. Customer service won’t move the baggage allowance for me so I’m just out $80 now. Nice!
