There are 2 unskippable ads, that are both 2 to 3 minutes long, each time to start and switch station. No thanks, this is a surefire way to drive people off to other alternatives. If not otherwise the app is pretty straightforward, easy to use and suffers no lagginess and breakings.
This app used to very good, have been using from sometimes to listen to “Live Kirtan from Golden Temple Amritsar” but recently started to have many advertisements which are 3 minutes long each and sometimes we may not have enough time to wait for the advertisement to finish completely so please stick to the shorter advertisements if guys really need. Thank you!
Everything was good and have been using the free version of the app for few years. But recently they increased the video ad duration to 3 minutes. Cannot skip. Have to watch the full video ad before you can start listening to your favorite station. If you change station, another 3 minutes ad plays. I have switched to another app.
When I encounter ads longer than the mandatory 3 minutes, I immediately exit the app. There are plenty of other options available. If TuneIn continues to impose 3-5 minute ads without a skip option after 5-10 seconds, I will not hesitate to delete the app.
Now need to pay or listen 5 minute advertisement cannot skip?

I can accept short ad time and I have been enjoying that for a few years. But lately, the ad time is close to 3 minutes for Singapore radio stations. Are you kidding me??? This is ridiculous! I’m switching to another app.

I think it’s ridiculous to have a 2mins+ ads playing before you can play anything. Furthermore, it often disconnects and ads replay, another 2mins for each disconnect. Won’t be using this app anymore.
I have been a loyal and satisfied user for a long time. I don’t mind short ads in the past to support the app. But recently really frustrating that the ads are 3 minutes long before u can listen ( Singapore)!! This is especially unacceptable when I am in a rush to listen to something urgent. Can the owner pls censor those super long ads? Else loyal followers like me will have no choice but to switch to other less intrusive app.
