TurboTax: File Your Tax Return

I’ve used TurboTax EVERY YEAR for filing my taxes… last year they completely messed up my refund. They charged me for the “deluxe package” in which I never approved for. Wouldn’t allow me to switch back to free version & TurboTax estimated my refund as only $6,000 total and $130 of it taken out for filing through them. After I filed I wanted to see if the refund amount would be different on another efile site (because something didn’t seem right with there calculations) and the other site estimated my refund to be $13,000!!!!! I was so livid and will NEVER use this site to file my taxes again!!!! USE TAXSLAYER INSTEAD!!!!

Been using for years the free version to file taxes , works like its suppose to and usually takes a few weeks but they will deposit the full amount into my bank account . Beats spending $600+ to file anywhere else

12:18/24 Dear Developer of the Intuit Apple App, My feedback was not to your liking. I changed my last Review to 5 Stars today like you asked me to revise. Thank you for your email. I really appreciated it. I do think I made an ambitious aspiration that did not meet the existing iphone App. My intention was for the current Turbo Tax to Add more functions to this App and not to degrade it. I am a C Corp business and have been searching for such Apps online that can help us File Taxes easily and smartly like I do for the personal taxes. I have yet to find an upgrade to this Turbo Tax for CCorp (private) as you already have one for Self Business! Hope this review is positive. I do love Turbo Tax and have been using it since the beginning of time. Till next time. Keep up the good work. I have been a TurboTax customer for five years now. I will not be using their tax services this year or in the future. The last couple years I ended up having to pay for the service because they said my taxes were more intricate and tougher to do (new jobs, moving, unemployment because of COVID) In the past, that was the correct case but this year I only have one W-2. They say I don’t qualify for the free version because my taxes are too complicated. If I’ve only worked at one job, the same job I had last year and I haven’t used unemployment, haven’t moved, so then how are my taxes so complicated? I asked the AI assistant why I don’t have the free option and they said it’s because I’m returning Customer. So basically since I am a valued and returning customer for five years, you’re going to charge me for being a loyal customer? Terrible business model and AI is not helping your company when it’s that brutally honest about how cheap you are. Taking my business elsewhere and never coming back. Would give 0 starts if that were an option 👎🏼 Response to developer: There is no confusion here. Your product is advertised as free. The last three years I have not had it free. This year it should be free, my one W2 is even simpler than the taxes I did in my teens having multiple jobs and it was free then. The American taxpayers are already getting screwed over by the American government. Don’t need another company taking my hard earned money. I will not be contacting your social media. I will just be doing my taxes elsewhere. Do better.

It looks simple, but it’s not, they claim is free, but is not at the end, I try to file 3 different W-2 and they said that I have to paid 3k back to IRS, I’ve never pay back before, I make the average salary. They tell You can add multiple W-2 but clearly the system doesn’t recognize years and conflicts properly. I just went to my local tax office and they return almost $300. Too bad for TurboTax for not doing simple Tax forms right. Just don’t waste your precious time and go to your local tax office.

I can’t get in the app to look at old documents. It locks me into placing an order for this tax season even though that’s months away. Despicable design and glad this is my last year filing with this company

If I did a loan advance somewhere. Cus I go and do one there

I’ve been using TurboTax for years. It always gets me the best refund and they stand behind me 100%.

Just about every time I’ve filled my taxes I have been assisted in some way shape or form by the people who work for turbo tax for free. The last two years I have been extremely disappointed with my return outcome. This year they’re giving me no option but to pay upwards of $150 to even start filling my taxes properly, when I haven’t even made that much back in a return in the last three years. I liked this site/app when you got help for free just because people had good intentions. Not anymore because everyone is just a money hungry corrupt business.

I filed a tax return last year and yet I didn’t received any tax and whenever i try to reach them they said there are so many tax payers so you have to wait. And all my friends whi filed taxes from other web sites they already got their taxes in 1-2 months. Worst app ever and regret to file taxes from here
