I tried using the ReFile option to edit my taxes only to find out that I would have to pay an additional $50 to complete my taxes

Additionally, the customer service is very poor! Both the automated callback system and talking to an agent.  The callback system called at 2 minutes prior to the office closing for the day only to put me on hold and hang up on me!  I would like to think that with the money Intuit makes that the IT department would know enough to realize that less than 10 minutes prior to closing for the day shouldn’t be connecting calls which are most likely to be disconnected without every reaching an agent

When I called for service this morning the system continually got my name wrong even when I spent it numerous times, the agent didn’t know how to adjust my taxes without selling me another product and when I asked about leaving feedback she also informed me that there are no other options through her office or online, so that’s why I’m leaving this negative review here

The only other place I saw similar reviews were on Reddit.  So I take it that Intuit doesn’t want to deal with providing good service only upselling products

Very disappointed and will be going back to the software that I used last year

***UPDATE***
TurboTax reached out to me to tell me to contact them through messenger 
I have already done that several times with no resolve to my simple problem 
I thought I got good directions from them but then both the app and the website kept giving me issues. When I called TurboTax the guy on the phone had good customer service skills but lacked the training from TurboTax to solve the problem 
I ended up calling the CRA and the agent there haloed me solve it in less than 10 minutes 
Going back to using Wealth Simple

J’ai transmis mes impôts avec TurboImpôt en optant pour l’option plus chère d’avoir un professionnel qui vérifie mes impôts avant la soumission et pour pouvoir poser des questions au fur et à mesure, mais aucun de ces services ne m’ont été disponibles (peut-être parce que j’ai rempli mes impôts en retard). Bref, ça m’a coûté plus de 100$ pour absolument rien de plus que le service de base. Si ce que j’achetais n’était plus disponible, j’aurais voulu ne pas avoir l’option de l’acheter! Vraiment c’est n’importe quoi. J’ai voulu me faire rembourser, mais je n’ai trouvé aucun numéro de téléphone ou moyen de communiquer avec TurboImpôts; j’ai seulement fait une plainte pour laquelle je n’ai eu aucun retour. De plus, j’aurais souhaité faire mes impôts à l’ancienne, mais ce n’est pas possible sur l’app (on se fait barouetter d’un élément à l’autre avec une interface « user friendly », mais je trouve ça extrêmement dur à suivre).

### **--- "So easy to use, yet so buggy on iPad"
I’ve used turbotax on Windows for years and decided to jump to the online and then the iPad version. The problem is that everytime I need to switch to a different app to look up some info, it looses the session, does not save my work sends me to the login page and requiers my credentials again.
Loading is soooo slow at startup or when switching back to turbotax after multitasking.

I had used turbo tax a few years in a row (free version no hassles) and was completely satisfied until this year when there was an annuity income to declare and I was required to pay to upgrade to “deluxe” to continue. Not good if you have anything like that to declare in free version.

TurboTax is great…if you can use it. Currently the format crops information and it doesn’t allow the user to scroll. I can see everything if I pinch zoom but then I can’t click progress buttons or enter information which is kinda of essential so don’t bother until they fix it.

And yes, I have the latest versions of the app and the lastest iOS for iPad

This is hands down one of the most useful free to use apps on the App Store. Anyone who has basic knowledge of computer/phones and English can file taxes within half an hour. And not to forget that it free to use, there are paid options for people with complicated financial needs but for an average person who is working an an employee, it’s absolutely great app. I would like to thank the app developer for such tremendous service.

In the States TurboTax has actually got in trouble for false advertising- puzzling how they’re still able to do this in Canada. 

There is no such thing as a free tax return with them for MOST people, but you only find that out after you enter a ton of information and spend a lot of time. 

Had to pay for a self-employed version which was $65- even though I was a full time employee because I didn’t have capital losses to report? Makes no sense.

This is probably the worst app I’ve ever used. Every two minutes it signed me out and asked me to sign back in and enter codes into both my phone and email. This takes like five minutes to do each time and then after two minutes and asked me to do it again. like 20 times in 30 minutes I am using an iPhone and this is absolutely the most ridiculous thing that I’ve seen on iPhone!!!! One of the most frustrating things in my life I want to smash this app and my phone. .
