Can't edit bookmarks, can't delete web history, unintuitive design
Cannot edit YouTube bookmarks. App prompts to sign up for premium when I select the “bookmark” title to edit the saved bookmarks as per the instructions from the quick user guide. Why do you need to get pay to edit or delete bookmarks? I have accidentally saved many YouTube bookmarks and can’t delete them. There’s also no way to delete the web browser and YouTube data cache and history. I don’t see any settings to delete the browser cache and history anywhere. I want to be able to clear my history and delete the cache and data. The only way is to fully delete the app and redownload it again. And lastly, the user interface is not very intuitive and is very confusing, even with the quick user guide. For example, the forward and back arrow looks like it could scroll through the icons on the bottom dock, but it is for going forwards or backwards on the YouTube webpage. Also, the gesture navigation is extremely confusing, especially when there's two different icon docks. The YouTube bookmarks/favorites button is also confusing as there is only 1 button to either add a bookmark or view the saved bookmarks and which button appears will depend, I think it would be better to have 2 bookmark buttons (add a bookmark and view bookmarks). Plus the issue I said earlier with not being able to edit bookmarks. Also, if I open the Twitch page, I cannot go back and open the YouTube page unless I close the app and start over. And I don't know why the bottom of the screen always shows my iPhones storage availability, this seems like a big waste of screen space as it could be used to show more icons or other things so that I don't have to keep swiping and using gestures to pull up the icons. But I do really appreciate that the app is trying to be intuitive and having a lot of features, but the design needs a big overhaul. I really like the background audio playback feature on YouTube. Though one recommendation is to add a "repeat" (loop) button so that the YouTube video could play continuously on repeat (which you can do on the desktop version of the YouTube website, you long press the YouTube video and a menu shows up).
