You can use the app to customize pedal features and more.

The app just doesn’t work. Pedal is great, app keeps disconnecting and is impossible to then reconnect. Shame because there are some great features in the app that I’ve yet to be able to access for long enough to use

This update has made accessing all pedals second to useless.

As this app is getting detrimentally worse and in the process annoying the user base, maybe UA should allow owners to access the pedal functionality and presets via USB and the slightly more stable UA Connect app as an interim and get some fresh eyes on this app's/pedals's connection problems.

The pedal sounds amazing. There’s no issues there. The app somehow finds it extremely difficult to connect to the pedal and usually takes about 20 trials and hours before you can even get connected. There are also not that many presets unfortunately available or at least most presets sound quite similar.

When selecting my paired UAFX pedal (in this case the ASTRA) the app just crashes and I can’t go further. I need to set the I/O to buffered but it’s impossible to do it without the app so I’m stuck

Ultimately, you will be paying £300 or more for a great pedal, but if you want the presets and more than it promises via the app, forget it. If you let the screen hibernate for a bit, the pedal disconnects from the app. Often the app doesn’t recognise one or more pedals, or just crashes every single time. Such a shame; if the app was bettered, this would be a 10/10. It’s the only major thing letting the product down.

I’ve spent a great deal of money on 3 UAFX pedals, and one of the main attractions was being able to try presets and artist presets via the app. But it doesn’t work!! On either iPad or iPhone…sometimes one pedal shows up, sometimes none. This is really poor

Connected once. Registered pedal. Now telling me not registered; can’t connect; can’t connect unless reregistered - the list goes on. Pedal is awesome, the app capability should be a massive positive but it’s not usable.

Was having difficulty with connecting pedal (dream65) to PC but once downloaded app onto phone everything fell into place - registration simple, new speakers immediately onto pedal and access to a large number of great presets! The app was a lifesaver (in pedal terms). Only 4 stars as nothing is ever perfect and if you go full bore where else do you go?
