Denies good vehicles
I recently purchased a brand new vehicle and paid sooo much to get all the uber registration documents. From vehicle inspection reports to double disks to dekra reports to criminal record checks, it was all expensive only for uber to tell me that my car is not right for their platform. I don’t know if they need old scrapy cars or what because my car is in the “best” condition a vehicle can be, literally roadworthy. After all my hardwork and money, they refused my car. I’m so frustrated.
Exploitation
Very poor service from Uber and the commission is very high in this company is so unfair to dad drivers they charge riders high fares but give drivers and 30%. This is pure exploitation in Johannesburg South Africa
Garbage
This app offers no recourse against bad drivers. Over uber completely. It’s garbage and unsafe.
Doesn’t work properly
This app does work properly I have struggling to go online the whole day I contacted the support team still no help
Apple CarPlay
When my app is on and I use the CarPlay the radio switches off but before you could hear the radio and the navigation in the background at the same time

Try and make uber map like Waze so as it gives alternative routes for drivers and clients to avoiding roadblocks,construction, accidents, road closures,hijacking zones that will be useful to drivers and clients cause it will safe time
Commission too high/Driver Earnings worse than slavery
Uber’s commission of up to 50% per trip is too high. Drivers take home little to no profit. Only Uber makes profit, not the driver.
Support is all AI and never resolves any issues - useless.
Low earnings
Drivers get low earnings yet the cars needs to be filled with fuel and serviced not forgetting too many documents needed to be updated yearly which cost at an unreasonable price
Can’t upload Dekra inspection
I have been trying to contact Uber based on the error I’m getting when uploading by Dekra inspection and no one is helping

Commission too high
Client paid R886 ,I as a driver I was R540 and uber took R346 as their commission
Does this mean uber now takes 40 % commission from the driver
