DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!!
I have been a customer for years of this app and ordered so many rides with the time Now they are abusing my card in the sense that every ride i order they are charging me twice the price and receiving two different notifs exactly at the same time charging me the same exact price… they have done that to me 5x now they charged me twice the ammount of every ride taking money from my card.. i had 3 cancelled rides due to the drivers fault i ordered 3 rides and i had to cancell them all immediately because of the long pick up time.. safe to say that they still charged me the full price for all the cancelled rides.. how did i pay full price for every cancelled rides I contacted their support team and its safe to say they’re incredibly useless i talked to 6 different people on their support and all of them literally said the same exact thing.. that it wasn’t an authorization hold 1st one told me it will take 2 weeks till i get refund and the other tells me i need to wait a month and they told me to contact my bank to comfirm it was an authorization hold and i did and the BANK told me that IT WASNT an authorization hold i send them all the proof i had concrete evidence send them all the receipts and they are still saying it is an authorization hold while the bank told me it wasn’t yet they keep on insisting that it is an authorization hold and keep on repeating the same thing This is absurd they took so much money from my card never have i experienced this from any app or website or company if your gonna use uber i strongly suggest that you dont unless its in cash but whatever you do DONT PUT YOUR CARD IN THE APP always use it in cash But my recommendation is bolt because they have never tried this or take money from the card with no valid reason even if they did their support team are on point and they TRULY investigate and help you as much as they can including refunding you quickly as possible
