Forget about customer support. The User Interface is designed to keep users away from any form of direct contact with customer support, opening a support ticket, filing a complaint, etc. Any problem You may have with the service is redirected to a endless loop of stock „FAQ” answers. The only way to get in touch with customer support is to report an issue with the driver, but not every problem that can occur is the drivers fault! Basically Uber does not want to be bothered with customers, that is how this app is built, period. Just avoid this platform if You can.

In Istanbul, our driver dropped us off and left with all of our luggage in the car (three huge bags), because he “forgot”. I tried chasing after a car, but he didn’t see me. Afterwards, we tried contacting support for any information on the driver (the app doesn’t even show a plate number of a car of the drivers number). support chat was silent for the whole day. we went to the police so that they can find the car through security cameras. only because of the police we managed to get our stuff back, and it wasn’t just some glasses i forgot on the backseat, it was all of our stuff - my computer, 3k dollar bag etc. Why does uber make it so hard to contact the driver?! it is impossible to locate a car unless you go to the police. just an awful experience. and i’m not even talking about the awful UI that makes it impossible to order a taxi without swearing at your phone every few seconds, since the maps don’t work properly

An awful experience with the app in Istanbul. The driver left with all my luggage in the car. The app lacks any information about the ride (even the license plate number), as well as the option to contact a driver. The support request was first time answered 2 days after the accident and no workable solution provided still! Thanks to Istanbul police which helped to find the driver via CCTV. So be careful with Uber and be noted that in case of any emergency with the ride you’ll be left on your own.

Poor client service when it comes to issues resolution. When the problem occures Uber client service is reluctant to undertsand and help, they keep repeating standard terms and conditions instead of solving the problem.

Renting a car in the application of uber is not a good idea at all i booked a car with uber application and after the booking and taking money they ask me to prepare a credit card and there is no option to cancel or to contact or chat with agent, the company of the car renting told me to manage with uber but there is no answer , really bad experience
