Uber - Request a ride

Worst application I’ve ever used. Taxi drivers can scam you, and support doesn’t help at all. I paid 27.5€ for an 8‑minute trip instead of the expected 17.5€, and I only noticed it later on the email receipt. I will never use this app again!

Vodič Uberu napadol moju tehotnú partnerku priamo po ceste z nemocnice! To, že niekto s takým správaním vôbec môže voziť ľudí cez túto aplikáciu, je absolútne zlyhanie kontroly a bezpečnosti. Uber sa prezentuje ako spoľahlivá a bezpečná služba, no realita je presne opačná. Dôvera je nenávratne preč a túto aplikáciu už nikdy nepoužijem. Uber, hanbite sa.

I mainly use Bolt, but I wanted to try Uber for the first time after constantly seeing the “UXBRATISLAVA” promo code plastered all over their cars in Bratislava. It’s literally on every Uber vehicle – so you’d expect it to work, right? Nope. I signed up as a new user, entered the code, and it just says it’s expired. No proper warning, no alternative offer, nothing. Just a fake promise to lure people in.

Objednal som si taxik na ktorý som čakal 7min vodic prešiel okolo mna a isiel dalej. Po 7 min zrusil jazdu a poslali mi dalsieho na ktoreho som cakal 7 min. 777 otrasna skúsenosť to som mohol isť rovno MhD. Nemaju zakaznicku podporu takze nemate s kym ani prebrat vas aktualny problem

The fare shown in the Uber app is not what you’ll actually be charged. I was quoted €8–11 and ended up paying €15.80. Support refused a refund and just said the charge “falls within range.” If prices in the app don’t reflect real charges, how can customers make informed decisions? Very disappointing.

Už dva krát po sebe sa mi stalo že neprišiel nikto pretože nenašlo šoféra. Dal by som nula hviezd keby sa dalo ale musím dať jednu. Veľmi zlá služba.
