Don’t trust the app! Udemy is a good platform. However app isn’t. When I open the app in online mode, it does not show the full course content but some of them. If I download the content and open it in offline mode, it gives error. I tried this with iPhone, iPad, and my new iPhone’s as well since 2018. Don’t trust Udemy app if you purchase a course. They don’t try to fix it.
This app is totally unusable. Keeps having message that an error occurred while loading the video (even for course already downloaded on the device). Chapters randomly disappear from the list of lectures and I have to logout and login again to make it reappear. App crashes regularly or even completely freeze the iPad. I have paid for course but I have also paid to have a descent access to them. I see regular updates of the application. I don’t know what you are doing under the hood but please focus on the main issues. This is the worst and most frustrated user experience I have ever seen.
I like Udemy but the App on the Apple TV is unusable. It opens and closes directly... At the end I found a possibility to contact the support but they just told me that they won’t support the Apple TV app anymore. So why leaving it in the store if she’s not working!? That’s not serious for me and so only 1 star for the apps!
The app is great if you don’t want to depend on network and learn offline, but it randomly cut the sound of videos -> you need to redownload them.
I watch my courses during commuting. Therefor I need to download the courses upfront to my iPhone. The latest version of the app however: - removed all downloaded content - doesn’t download the courses at the speed that I can watch them. Now it looks like it has completely stopped downloading content. As a result, the app has become completely useless to me and all the money I invested in purchased courses is lost. Too bad, because I really liked the concept and courses are top quality. Udemy screwed it technically.

I don’t like the system it works a little slow because I paid for the course and I was charged but it’s been a week but I still don’t have any access to the course.I’m still not enrolled despite I was charged.
The Udemy app was mostly okay. Learning on an app is inefficient and clumsy anyway. So now that I can no longer update the app, I will just delete it. As of this review, they only support iOS version 17.2 and greater. Those of us who are using Xs and older are just left out.
It’s good for viewing courses on your iPad or iPhone but it’s buggy when downloading video. Also not compatible with older devices which is unfortunate because so many apps still maintain compatibility on older devices. Forced obsolescence is a bad way to go. Basically you’re streaming video, why make the newer apps incompatible? What has changed to deny service on the device which still performs well?
I don’t receive an email with code the app says it’s going to send.
