Ultimate Guitar: Chords & Tabs

Any tab I load has no sound even with volume up and vibrate off

So, I pay for the Pro version of Ultimate Guitar. I pay for it so I can hear the sound and play along at speed with the sound so I know the song. So how am I supposed to learn the songs when the official and pro tabs are now broken, and refuse to play sound? Not even including the fact that tabs I use sometimes permanently break and I can no longer use them! This app is awesome. I’ve learned so much guitar from this. I’ve learned many songs. Now it’s broken. FIX THIS BUG! I want a response. Considering this is a two star, it probably won’t.

With all the tons of music i listen to that may have been released years ago, or just had gotten posted, your app has its tabs already. All of its features are really appreciated however there are many problems i come across despite my satisfaction. Constantly everyday i am met with bugs and glitches that will not fix themselves by just exiting and entering. For example, Lady Gaga's new song with Bruno Mars " Die With a Smile". Still a very new song but is on the app! a couple of days ago i looked over the tabs excited to learn the bass part. Next day the tab just wont load at all, no big deal usually but its been 3 days and this has not been fixed! I can prove i'm not the only one with this problem since in the comments another user has said so. The song has JUST came out and it's understandable but 3 days? Upon the first day of using this app i tried customizing my board just to crash after the second picture i put in. Not only does that reset any progress i had while making the board, it's just frustrating. Recently i have also been constantly getting crashed out of the app, maybe its just my phone but usually its the app. Another annoying thing is when im looking for new music and i sync it with my playlist. This is fine except it recommends music that doesn't even have an official tab. Whats the point of saying you know it but don't have it? I feel like ive been patient but its really getting annoying having problems every time i open the app. Many times tabs just don't load at all. I can't play the tabs with the real song. The closest thing the app offers is a separate mv or its backtrack. Other times the scrolling while you're in the music gets buggy and its harder to scroll up or down. Sometimes when you turn off the count-in it still counts you in. I keep encountering so many problems its hard to compare the pros and cons. On one hand you get access to all the music you could basically think of. On the other hand, you have a bad experience time to time trying to get the app to work. If there is any solution to any of these problems, may i be told how? -Thank you

I have begrudgingly used this app for years, tolerating numerous issues with each update, annoying pop-ups, surveys, pop-ups promoting features I couldn’t care less about (i.e. Shots). After this weekend I can no longer use this app and highly recommend you don’t waste your time with it. The last straw was this: half of the songs on my playlist for a live show would not load because of a network error. This is unacceptable. Why my playlist and favorited songs were not automatically downloaded for offline use I will never understand. Save yourself the headache and find another app or just put your songs into Apple Notes. You’re way better off than use this garbage app. It’s fitting that the abbreviation for the app name is UG.

Very expensive for an app where the pro tab works about 50% of the time (just doesn’t display). I really can’t imagine I’ll be renewing.

I appreciate that they are trying to add more features, but it is more challenging to view and use chords/tabs on mobile. Auto-scroll isn’t available anymore? And if you try to use the play-along feature, you get stuck with that and unable to return to being able to look through the chords and view fingerings. Maybe just some kinks to work out, but not great to push something with bugs like that.

Love love love this app, but the new update and layout is a pain to navigate if you want to simplify the chords or change the transpose. It not too difficult to figure out, but I think the other layout was much easier!

I can’t find my subscription but the bot wants me to provide the receipt yet there is no receipt sent. Love the app but I am paying for something I can’t access and they want me to buy more to get into what I already have. The site even shows I have the subscription. Why then should I have to provide a receipt? There is a button called restore subscription but it says they can’t find on. Catch 22
