Collaborate
Create a recipe book of your favorite family recipes and invite your family members to work on it with you. Or, start a recipe book with a friend so you can share the pastries and desserts you've made together over the years.
Organize and Manage
Tag your recipes with things like "Vegetarian", "Dessert", or "Baking" so you can easily find the perfect recipe for any occasion.
Browse and Import
Open the recipe browser to automatically import recipes from popular sites or paste the URL of a recipe you want to add.
Cook Mode
Get in the zone by tapping the "Start Cooking" button on any recipe to see an interactive checklist of ingredients as well as step-by-step directions.
Grocery Lists
Create shared lists with family and friends, add groceries directly from your recipes, and automatically organize items by aisle or by recipe.
Meal Plans
Schedule your recipes in a dynamic calendar view. Pull down to see meals for the whole month, or swipe up to collapse the calendar into a single week.
Access and Edit Online
Manage all of your recipes from any computer by going to umami.recipes on your web browser.
Export
Your data is yours. You can export your recipes as PDF, Markdown, HTML, Plain Text, or Recipe JSON Schema.
Share
Easily create links to share recipes with friends. They will be able to read your recipe online, even if they don't have the app!

This app is exactly what I was looking for
Recipe manager and grocery list all in one app and easy to use. Absolutely love this app.
Everything but the pantry
I do like this app a lot but I just wish there was a pantry option. Almost ready to move on from Paprika but not quite yet

My first review ever on an app.. This beat all other recipe manager applications by far!
I never write reviews…
But this app is so good I had to. Clean, simple, intuitive, doesn’t try to push content or ads or upsell you. Has all the functionality you need. Just immensely useful. Do yourself a favour and try it.
An app for the people by the people.
Not sure what happened to my first review but holy is this the greatest app to ever hit the AppStore. Within 20 minutes I bought a life time subscription, which I hate paying for apps but this one deserves it. ( also appreciate the affordability and one time payment I wish more had that option in a life based on subscriptions. ). I don’t even know where to begin and end explaining how this meal planner outshines the rest. Try it for yourself and you won’t go wrong. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
Insane app deserving more recognition
In 10 years, this is my first review on the App Store. This application is just amazing. It beats every other cooking app by a mile. I don’t want to write too much because I’ll never finish so I’ll let you discover it by yourself.
The best
Honestly, the best recipe app I’ve ever had everything you’ve always wanted and more keeps track of all your favourite online recipes without you having to go through all those stupid ads and trying to decipher where the actual recipe is. Well done!
The App!
Was looking for months for a way to store my recipes online for quick access for my and my kids. No app fully met my needs, and then I found Umami. It’s perfect! So much so, I took the time to write a review for the 1st time in my life.
