like another review, a recent update botched my entire account and lost all my cameras. i had to uninstall, reboot and reinstall then log back in to get them back.
even after that, the cameras now don’t work locally (only when off home network on vpn, which makes no sense) and the support is non existent. it says they reply in a few hours, i’m now over a week waiting with no response.
i wish i could get a refund and find another option. steer clear.
Update 2: Took away features I bought, deleted everything
I opened up the app to find all my cameras gone.
Tried to add them and it won’t let me have more than one. I paid for a one-time purchase years ago but attempting to restore the purchase does nothing. The new subscription scheme seems to be the only option.
So far as I know, removing paid for features is a violation of App Store rules. I’ll try to get my money back and I’ll find a new app.
Subscription popup is constant
As much as a like this app, the recent addition of the subscription upgrade popup nearly every time I open the app is ridiculous. At least give me a “remind me in X days” dismissal option. Not much use for the setting to open directly to a certain page when that page is always superseded by the popup.
I don’t need any of the additional functionality that the subscription offers at the moment, but when I do I’ll find myself thinking twice just out of sheer annoyance.
Otherwise, the interface is clean and it’s the best IP camera app out there at the moment.
Hybrid system working well
I have a mix of ONVIF ip cameras and cheap rtsp feeds on the same network. The app aggregates the different feeds into one quick and easy viewer. Most importantly the app allows for global configuration and the ability to combine multiple networks into one viewer. If you’ve used other viewer apps you’ll know why this flexibility is appreciated.

What does this mean
Have Tiny cam pro on Firestick and it works great
Best app of its kind for Apple TV
I haven’t used this on iPad or iPhone because my camera manufacturer’s app works in those situations. However, on Apple TV, this is the best of of its kind for monitoring feeds.
No other app I’ve found lets you open the app directly into a camera feed. I’ll definitely buy a paid license when I add more cameras to my setup!
My only request would be the addition of picture-in-picture support on tvOS. It would be wonderful to have my camera feed in the corner of my TV while watching other content.
Waste of money
Update: I got a response on our attempt to get the app working. We finally remedied the issue we were having with our equipment, but when I attempted to access the cameras on the pro version of the app that I paid for, I no longer have the pro version (somehow). I am being told I must purchase the app again. I have emailed the “customer support” and gotten zero response. How do I get my app restored to the pro version which I ALREADY paid for, without having to pay again?
First camera added easily; picture clear and accurate. Try to add second camera, only one is allowed with free version. Upgraded to pro version, add all other cameras, now none work. Not even the first one, which worked fine before I bought the “better version”. Don’t waste your money. You responded that I should email for assistance, but there is no contact information to be found. How exactly should I get a hold of you? If the app won’t work, I’d like to have my money back.
Can’t PTZ ??
Even if I pay it doesn’t say I can PTZ with an on if compliant PTZ CAMERA. I COULD NOT CONTACT THE DEVELOPER TO ASK SO I GIVE THE APP a 1 star.
Not able to add camera
I have a IP camera that worked well with another app that not supporting new iOS. I purchased this app. It found the camera but failed to add it.
You get what you pay for
I've tried numerous similar apps, but nothing has come close to the feature set, ease of use, and compatibility as MVR. Only one camera is in the free version, but it's well worth the $10 for unlimited cameras (note that there are several in-between versions with 2/4/8 streams). The app isn't free, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case - it's a polished, non buggy, and ad-free app.
