Pls if you are trying to join Upwork, it’s not a safe place to do business, as big as Upwork claimed to be, there is no customer care representative to communicate with when you encounter a problem, I think they intentionally made it that way to frustrate their victim, it's a big scamming platform, I made payment for a freelancer on their platform to do some work for me and they released the funds to the freelancer and made the work completed and paid without my knowledge meanwhile the freelancer didn't do the work I paid him to do and now I can't recover my money and I didn't get any work too done so it looked like a planned thing between them and their freelancers, I have tried sending several emails to report my problem but to no avail. This is the only place I have so far to write my expression. Please Upwork is not safe to use, I will recommend Fiverr because your money is safe, you are assured of your work, you have a customer representative to chat with and lodge your complain, pls Upwork I need my funds back, I am going to social media to pour my heart out there until I get justice

So so difficult to get client on upwork. 🥺🥺

How can a client cheat me in my work, I open a dispute and he still refuses to pay me and upwork asks me to pay AAA fees. If both parties don’t pay, the escrow money is sent back to the client. How? All the work I did gone in favor of a shady client?
