Beschreibung

Uwajima Castle Reborn is a VR/AR app which allows you to experience the Uwajima Castle not only as it is now, but also as it had looked centuries ago. Uwajima Castle is one of the 12 remaining Japanese castles with a keep, and is counted among the 100 most famous castles of Japan. Besides the castle walls, only the stunning castle keep and the Noboritachimon Gate presently remain of the once grand complex. But now you can see all that had been lost and witness the castle in its former glory, thanks to our app!
(Languages supported: Japanese, English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean)

The AR feature allows you to take pictures with the first head of Uwajima Domain, Date Hidemune, his father “One-Eyed Dragon” Date Masamune and one of the “Four Wise Lords of Bakumatsu” and the 8th head of the Uwajima Domain, Date Munenari. It’s a fun way to commemorate your trip to Uwajima Castle!
