### **--- "PDFs cause crashes & Sparse library"
I used to provide a 4 star rating, now it’s 2. While I love VI and their customer service is top notch, the app isn’t it. Back in 2021, I asked a question via a Q&A session when the app would be updated. They said by the end of the year. Aside from an internal UI adjustment in the home screen, no physical app adjustments have been posted to the App Store.

The most recent problem I’ve faced is, aside from small-sized PDFs still not working, is most recent purchases haven’t been showing up in my library. On top of that, after deleting/reinstalling the app countless times, only about 1/3 of my library is there. Yes, I can use my browser, but what’s the point of using the app when you get to that level?

Andi, Josh, or whoever is reading this, again, I love your company (and app… when it works!), but please, on behalf of magicians everywhere, update your app!

If vanishing magic takes over other companies and the downloads are transferred and I’m simply clicking on the performance and the app closes automatically then what good is that app? Smh

As others have noted, some downloads (such as PDFs) crash the app. Also, if I have downloads in progress when the app crashes, they’ll resume when I relaunch but all of the file names disappear from the Download Queue page. (I have a row of progress bars with no file names). The app overall is great, but these UI bugs make it very frustrating to use.

As others have noted, I use this app to have reference material offline. I like being able to purchase directly from the app, although a search feature or at least some kind of sort would be nice. Downloaded videos are great, but pdfs still crash. Fix that and it’s a five star app!

When I first downloaded the app, ALL the various downloads were available for purchase right from the app. Over the last few months, the downloads are no longer available for purchase. When I click on the various links, the pages come up blank. The only available for purchase are e-books (4) and lectures. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app, and same issue. Has this been addressed?

App does everything you need and it's super convenient to be able to watch your downloads and read books right from it.
If you haven't made the complete switch from other magic company's to VI, then this app will make sure you buy all downloads from them, it really is that convenient and easy to use.

(If I sound biased it's cause I am ;) Vanishing Inc has treated me extremely well, respectfully, and been more than generous which is something you don't see often anymore in company's, they have forever earned my repeat business, respect and word of mouth advertising.)

Vanishing inc. offers great downloads however I find that streaming hardly ever works even when connected to Wifi. Attempts to download usually fail and if video does download seems like it needs to be redone loaded every time you a attempt to re watch. :/

..offer is good in my experience.

I'm amazed that the previous reviewer was committed enough...to survey every other user, thus enabling him to make such a definitive statement for the rest of us illiterate dimwits. 
God bless his willingness to share.
Experts and psychics such as him are few and far between.
But I digress....

The app is fine, and I suspect was never meant to replace all the full site offers.

Highly recommend.

Sorry I did an upgrade on my iPad. It was working fine. Now, although the program installs, the exe won't load. I will keep checking for fixes. Vanishing is losing sales by not making sure all platforms are happy.

The previous app version was working fairly well before. But it had its download problems. Moving on to the current version, not only is there a download issue still. There is now a video play back issue. Video does not play after its been downloaded. The PDFs are fine. The new UI is okay. It certainly seems better than the one before. Please fix the video issues as soon as possible.

Not a single of the videos I previously downloaded will play. 

The sound plays but all I see is a dark screen that says 'video loading'.  No videos ever load up. 

Stay away until this is fixed.

### ***** "Awesome app for any magician on the go"
I love having up to date ebooks and magic vids with me while I sit in the waiting room at the Dr office for hours sometimes ( substitute subway, train, study hall, or wherever you have spare time). The only problem to me is waiting for Apple to let them make some videos available on iPad but the solution is to download the VLC app to iTunes and iPad then buy the video via the website and download to your computer. Then while syncing your iPad or iPhone go to apps, scroll down to bottom and click on VLC player, then drag and drop the video. You will just have to watch it from there instead of the app until they get the proper approval from Apple. Solid app would highly recommend it to anyone seriously into magic. 5 stars

### *---- "Good catalog - bad learning tool"
The app is great sales tool for Vanishing Inc and for the customer to review the offerings in the download catalog.  You can preview and supposedly buy - this never worked for me. I purchased through the website. 

One of the incentives for the app was the Jon Allen book. But they never included bookmarking so every time you open it, you start on page one. The "bait and switch" with the Allen book is a whole different story. They said it was only available as a download for $40 then a short time later reprinted it.  Purchasers of the e-book are stuck with a poor to mediocre app. 

The app is slow and clunky. It seems to stop and its a challenge to determine what it's doing.  Not what one would expect from Josh and Andi - especially since Andi worked in the computer industry. I would delete but I would lose any access to the Allen book.

This app was really great but I have not been able to access the store front since the last update. The menu buttons cover the screen making it impossible to navigate products. Hope a fix comes soon.
