I’ve been travelling around this app is my go to. Works great, fast and reliable, it’s like Expedia but for tours and it’s so helpful

They don’t answer messages and place tours in places that are not easy to find then refuse to refund you for leaving you for being late for two minutes because you were looking for them

Be sure what you are reserving you activities… for service very hard to reach! And READ carefully all small caps… because If you want to cancel watch out musty impossible to reach them and after they same too late we will bill you anyway!! If you cancel you activity month before the your are safe!! For me it is over after my last activity the application will go straight to the garbage!!! Even if I come back in Japon which I will do, I will proceed another way! For me service it is very important!!

I paid for 2 tickets, Viator sent me a conformation that says an email will come. An email comes with a link to get tickets. I click that forwards me to the web that opens my newly downloaded Viator app. It asks me to like with a like to my email address. I click and check my email. I click the link in my email and it confirms me. Then click to continue. The app opens and tells me the link has expired. Resend. After 5 times I could kick myself for trying it a 6th. So still no ticket for tomorrow’s event. I will never use Viator again.

Viator is so awesome. I made a mistake on my booking by 3 days. The boat cruise i paid for was nonrefundable or negotiable online policies. The lady from viator called the company for me and they changed it to the correct day. This is my my 5th booking with them and they always come Through. Highly recommend

They would not honour the Free Cancelation within 24hours Policy of booking, because there is conflicting policy that you can’t cancel or make changes within 48hours of the event. Conveniently for Viator, the default is to book less than 48 hours in advance. I was making many bookings in a row, and made a mistake. I booked a tour without updating the date. I had done it so many times that it just slipped by me. Viator’s default is to book for the next available time, in this case it was the next day. I called immediately to correct this. All I got was, “we can’t do anything” and “there is a policy”. What about the other policy? I got no help. I will never use Viator again.

I am having difficulty seeing my bookings on the Viator app. When I want to follow the link, it doesn’t connect. Other times it tells me I have no active or past bookings. It also has difficulty accepting my credit card payment. It is not easy to get help for these issues. Please reply. Thank you!
