11/11/21 I’ve used this app for a long time. It is straight forward, easy to use, and reduces the original video to an impressive small byte size, and yet it retains a very close quality to the original. I am often surprised that I can email videos after using this. Of course it depends on your original video size and length. I have never had any problems with it. I hope that you will get a lot of value as I do. I use it as a regular guy who likes video and photos and to edit and share. I use this on iPhones. Now it is an iPhone 12, with no problems. For those having problems, hang in there, there is likely a good explanation to resolve them. This is a great and useful app. Cantact them via the website. Two suggestions for improvement. 1 When you open the video selection panel at the beginning, please show the current value of the size of the file. 2 Also, here, please show which files have already been compressed. Both of these facilitates deciding which file to possible try a second compression, should it be worth it. With many apps using different schemes of ordering the apps (biggest to smallest byte size etc or the reverse) it is not easy to know which was the most current file. Thank you for all the great value that I have had. California

Used to work perfectly. 
Now with latest iOS on iPhone 12 Pro Max I can’t select videos to merge, and I can’t see the “choose from” list thumbnails, and I cannot add videos nor can I rearrange them. 
Completely disappointed that this paid app is no longer functional.

I’ve been here since the start ... on Day 1 of the release of iPhone 1 - I got there early and waited for this new place called The Apple Store to open.

When it did open, I walked in knowing exactly what I was doing; because I do my homework. The reason I’m holding an iPhone 8 Plus over TEN YEARS LATER however, is because (no matter how many times I’ve wanted to scream at the decisions they make) I’m a fiercely loyal customer who knows it’s best to stick with a winner. 

And As Far As Apps Made To Slim Videos Go: This Is A Slam Dunk!

Paid for the app and gave it permissions to both read and write my photos/videos. When I go to add a video it opens up a blank albums screen. Very very frustrating. When you try to find the most recent video is is hidden in the middle if all your videos - you would think most recent would be at the top. Camera Roll isn't even at the too, you have to scroll down past all your albums even online albums to find it. Best feature is the rotate video for dorks who film holding the camera vertical. Please fix media selector.

When this app works it is fit for purpose - I gain good compression and it pops the new compressed file straight into my camera roll - I then delete the original to keep my storage down. The frustration is with the reliability and lack of service/ support. On most occasions I will take a video on my IPhone 7 and then open the Videoslimmer app to compress it. The majority of the time it doesn’t see the video and therefore it can’t be selected. Other times it might see two videos in my camera roll from months ago, and none of the more recent ones. A total lottery. I have contacted support several times to find out why the app does not see the videos or allow me to select them for compression....never had a single response so I no longer try. I am now about to download a different app to do this function.
