It’s $16.99 a month and you’re limited 325,000 words I don’t understand why there’s a limit I mean it’s reasonable but does the app get tired? Also, a lot of your books don’t get uploaded on the free version. I think I should only be charged $10 once and every time a new human voice comes out.

I love this app. I’m a chronic reader and this app allows me to listen to web novels on the go. I’ve been using it for about a year or two and haven’t had any problems until this latest update. Ever since the latest update the follow along function has been very choppy and the while the audio will continue the page will freeze. That’s the biggest issue I’m having right now, I would like to suggest however if the reading speed function could have a 1.8 button because 1.5 is too slow and 2 is just above too fast lol. I definitely recommend this app regardless of anything else tho, for the most part it’s everything I need it to be

I have used this app for close to a year now & even have the subscription. However a couple of days ago it automatically updated on my iPad Pro and ever since then I can’t even open the app without it immediately crashing. I have tried deleting it & redownloading but same issue. On my iPhone which has automatic updates turned off the app still functions as usual. If it wasn’t for the app my phone still working I would have cancelled my subscription. However if the issue doesn’t get resolved soon, I will have to cancel the subscription & subscribe to another app since I do most of my reading on my iPad.

I have used this app for quite a while now and have overall loved it, however the new inclusion of a word limit as well as ads ever few minutes absolutely ruined it for me. I understand money you need to find a way to make money but this is only going to drive away your user base especially when there are other options out there.

For $17mo a character limit is nothing more than a $$ grab. The human like vocals are the best out there, but limiting and charging more to keep using the app is ridiculous. I hit my limit of 325k characters in one day. 
I’ll definitely be canceling my subscription and deleting the app because I can’t afford to keep paying extra to use this.

I downloaded the app and uploaded a 4.9 MB PDF file that is a 16 page chapter of a book using an up-to-date software and device. The app failed to process this file. Therefore, it is useless for my purposes. Please do not pay for any features until you test it on basic functionality.

### *---- "VISUALLY IMPAIRED! VIIO DOES NOT WORK WITH VOICEOVER!"
VIIIO may be a very fine app, but I cannot tell! I am visually impaired and must rely on VoiceOver. I could not make it past the first page. It just wouldn’t work with Assistive Technology. I could not move beyond that page. There were no usable guide buttons and it accepted none of the usual VoiceOver gestures. I ended up having to take it down because I could do nothing else with it! Developer, can you make this app work soon for low vision and blind users soon? Some of these better apps are therapeutic for low vision or blind persons, but the subscriptions make them prohibitive! Can you not offer us an affordable one-time Lifetime payment option? I’d like to hear from you, Mr. Best man. Even though I cannot use VIIO as it is, I wish you the best, but I do hope you will give positive consideration to both problems I’ve put before you!

I still have version 1.2.4, so I cannot speak to the quality/affordability of the premium features. I can’t overstate how much I love this app! It has enabled me to listen to several entire books while doing yard work and other relatively mindless tasks during which I would be otherwise intellectually unproductive. I want to express my sincere thanks to the developers for providing an app with the full functionality of the competition without making me pay a billion dollars (or even a penny) for it. The ONLY thing that needs to change (as of the version I’m using) is that it will stop speaking whenever it runs into ellipses in the text (ie. “…”). Whenever this happens I have to pull out my phone and manually select the word directly after the ellipse, and then it reads perfectly again. Thank you for making an awesome app!

Not all words are transferred well, although most are. In translating daily devotionals, it gets messed up with the chapters/verses. Also, some words are broken up and mispronounced (i.e. proc-lamation, jour-ney). I would like to be able to edit text to correct those issues. But, overall, it is somewhat helpful.
