Whether you want to use your iPad as a virtual scratch turntable, or just want to step away from the booth for a moment but still continue to monitor the mix from your iPhone, or even want to mix the whole gig wirelessly from your iPad while the computer plugged to your sound system delivers the beats, the VirtualDJ Remote application gives you full freedom to operate VirtualDJ over a WIFI connection.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: this application needs to connect to the software VirtualDJ running on a Mac or PC computer. The VirtualDJ software is available for FREE on www.virtualdj.com
SIMPLE WIRELESS SETUP:
VirtualDJ Remote and VirtualDJ Software connect over a simple Wifi connection.
If you are already using a wifi network, the connection will be done automatically, using Bonjour.
Otherwise, you can easily create an ad-hoc wifi network, and enter the device IP address in the VirtualDJ software for immediate connection.
EASY AUDIO CONFIGURATION:
The audio is being played by the computer, so you just need to plug your audio system to your computer, no need to carry audio wires to your iPhone/iPad.
SUPPORT THE FULL POWER OF VIRTUALDJ:
VirtualDJ is the most used DJ software, with more than 100,000,000 users, and has been used reliably by professional DJs all over the world for the past 10 years.
It features almost everything a DJ can need, from beat mixing, effects, song suggestions, samplers, video mixing, etc.
MAXIMUM VERSATILITY:
The interface and functionalities of the VirtualDJ Remote can be completely tailored to your exact needs, by using new Skins.

Nu mai functioneaza corect dupa ultimul Update “New Look”
Folosesc aplicatia de 8 ani , utilizez V DJ 2020 pe desktop cu licenta . NU AM AVUT NICI O PROBLEMA . Dupa ultimul update deck-urile nu se mai invart , se invart sacadat. Nu mai este afisat timpul melodiei . Bmp-ul nu mai este afisat… Ultimul update DEZASTRU. Rezolvati problemele la Software .

Este foarte bun remote-ul! Problemele sunt urmatoarele! 1. Dupa ce am redeschis aplicatia minimizata in multitaskingul Ipad-ului mi se inchide si trebuie sa il redeschid din nou! Practic isi pierde conectia! 2. ATENTIE - daca se pierde semnalul whireless din cauza conexiuni proaste, nu numai ca seninchide aplicatia de pe tableta, ci se si inchide Virtual dj-ul din calculator! Ar trebui sa se fac un update ptr problemele aceste! Remote-ul este in schimb foarte util!

Mai tare de atat nu se putea! Chiar il recomand. Merge cu vers 7.02 sau mai noua. Sa fie si laptopul cu itunes instalat si conectate ambele la un router. Sm mixat lejer din alta camera. Pt fun e senzational.

App Freezes ” Waiting for virtual dj connection …. “
Crashes and/or doesn’t find laptop
I’ve been using this remote control app with the main VDJ software on my MacBook for many, many years. It’s always worked really well, provided both my phone & laptop are on the same network. BUT, something screwy happened with app and the latest VDJ build. The app and main VDJ software simply can’t find each other anymore. If they do find each other (and it’s pretty rare), the app either crashes immediately or it’s showing inaccurate information about what’s loaded on my decks. Please get this issue fixed!!! It worked beautifully before, but now it’s completely useless!!
Why is not on Vision Pro?
This is the perfect companion to test the functionality of the remote. Be the pioneer on the virtual world and the physical one. Let’s goooo…. Just authorize the app for us to test it.

EDIT!!!!! Hahahaha. I must retract from my previews review… it just failed and crashed the app on my Mac. LOL. Please fix 🥹😅 First I must say that of all the years I’ve been using the app, there was just a small period of time where it failed… A lot! But with that out of the way, I must say that on the last 3 years, it’s been working pretty good. Today, I’m at a party and the app updated with me not noticing. I just connected it and I must say; it is actually working very well and is looking a lot better. Very responsive, no lag and can be used as a virtual controller in certain easy gigs. Thank You Virtual DJ for finally updating the app. It was long due, but thank you!
