Months ago, the ability to use the keyboard to play/pause got broken. Then later, the ability to use the arrow keys for navigating. Now, the OSD won’t stay hidden 90% of the time when you hide it. Please stop breaking things so badly.

Took them long enough, but shuffle finally works after 2 or 3 updates. It's a mindless shuffle, if you skip one song, the shuffle reintroduces everything in that album back into the upcoming options, so you'll hear repeats cause you skipped a single song... And just noticed, the loop of played songs is essentially the same all the time down to the exact same song order, and doesn't include all songs in an album (Tested with NFS U2 soundtrack which is rather short). But at least shuffle works, which was an essential feature of a music player. Since this is essentially the only app that works for music files, I have to tolerate these oversights. Certainly better than nothing, and at least there are updates that fix user complains!

A lot of videos it can’t play, even though the desktop VLC has no problem with them. Download does not work. Terrible user interface. Cannot connect to a server, and it cannot keep up decoding resulting choppy video.

Been using this app for a while now and ever since it got it’s newest update it keeps crashing when you play music files or skip songs. Besides that the app is decent.

Seems there is no app that supports viewing of jpgs on networked devices. Please add support for this function - as the pc version of VLC already has.

Chromecast icon never shows during video playback. Works in all other streaming apps I use.

I can’t cast video stored locally on my phone to Airplay on my TV. Only sends audio. Works fine with Chromecast. Video transcoded for Apple devices with Handbreak.

Every update makes this app worse. Now you can’t revert back to “standard” after accidentally turning on a randomized color filter. And you’ve managed to hide/remove the loop/repeat button. Needless UI updates with needless features yet again. If I could give this app zero stars, I would As of today, 2. April ‘22 i was told “this was fixed in the update from the day prior.” Still no repeat button for video files, no matter if they’re in a playlist or not.
