Almost good
it's missing a lot of important things, like song and artist search, the interface deserves a massive update, and some bugs need fixing, but it does its job and it's awesome

whenever i try to open a video in vlc nothing happens (and the only alternative app i can find is literally €100 so that's fun)
Folks sorry but your app is too simple. I can’t add and create playlists from local files. I need to connect and download from somewhere, very complicated path. I guess you need to organise ux research.
Why can't we play media stored locally on our iPad like all other video player apps? It does not ask for permission to access local media and there's no way to give it that permission. Limiting this app to use network playback makes it very pointless and l very different to what VLC is famous for on Mac
Old but good
Given the cloud service has exploded in popularity over the last few years it's frustrating to not be able to play my PCloud library directly through VLC
i have loaded some songs and study videos in it but it keeps on hanging resulting in force terminate the application
Every time I watch a movie I have to disable subtitles, it’s really annoying and should be off by default.
I think it's the best app to stream movies from my local NAS, but I would love to see the picture in picture one in it!
The app seems very good and works well until I tried to open .MTS files from the files app on my iPad. It doesn’t allow me to even click on them as they are greyed out. Also it would be nice if an option for importing from files was made more obvious as the only way I found it was by trying to import from iCloud first.
