## VLC media player Description
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player.
It can play all your movies, shows and music in most formats directly without conversion.
It allows file synchronization with Dropbox, GDrive, OneDrive, Box, iCloud Drive, iTunes, direct downloads and through Wi-Fi sharing as well as streaming from SMB, FTP, SFTP, NFS, UPnP/DLNA media servers and the web.
VLC offers support for advanced subtitles including full SSA compatibility, multi-track audio, playback speed control and rendering through Chromecast.

VLC is completely free and open source.

VLC was and still is a must have for me on all of my computers over the years (PC and Mac) and I’m not surprised it’s the absolute best player for iPhone as well.

Please add something like +/- 10/15/30 seconds buttons! Very useful feature on mobile.

### ****- "Video playback turns into a black screen - bug"
The app is great and I love it.
There’s just one persistent problem.
I like to sometimes leave the video (which I play from my local files, or from my thumbdrive specifically) playing in the background.
The problem is that if the playback spends too mich time in the background, if I return to the VLC app later on, I don’t see the video anymore. Just the audio and the black screen.

I found no way to reach out to the developers and report it so I’m posting it here.
If you are seeing this, please fix it.
