I cannot understand why, but trying to give feedback just brings me to the app itself. Since I cannot se how to give feedback directly, I have to do it here. The text size selected in the settings is not in effect when using the app after clearing the text. Even though I selected size 32, it will use size 12 after clearing the text. For an app costing 10 us dollar per year I am surprised to see it is not able override the sleep settings of the phone. I also am surprised it does not have the option of keeping the microphone on permanently. UPDATE: Thanks a lot to the app developer for replying really fast :) And many thanks for bug fix and explaining that sleep actually is inhibited during dictation. I guess I was misled by the fact that the mic is turned off after 45 second of no speech. My rationale for wanting the option of setting the mic to stay activated during no speech, is I use the app for a live transcription. Since there often will be pauses of several minutes, I now have to hit the mic button quite often in order to follow sporadic conversation. Additionally, while doing dictation, I often have long pauses, and find it distracting to reactivate the mic during sessions. Based on the above, my wish list still contains being able to force the mic permanently on :) UPDATE 2: Dictating is not blocking sleep mode on my phone. My phone goes to sleep while I am dictating through handsfree. And when using the internal mic. UPDATE 3: Many thanks for suggestion which solved the sleep issue! My iPhone X was iOS 12.4-beta. Now I have quit the beta program, but iOS still is 12.4. Now sleep blocking is working correctly. :) As for my wish to have an option of locking the mic permanently on (or at least 15 - 30 minutes), it still is extremely important to me. UPDATE: Tanks a lot for implementing a "Disable silence timeout" option in version 1.996. Now I am as happy as can be :)

I use the app to dictate for medical notes, then I cut & paste. I use medical shorthand (as in PT for patient). Because I can’t train it for my shorthand, I have to spell out my abbreviations-and it doesn’t understand that; lots of errors I have to edit.

Terrible app. It translated half of the short video after 5 tries. The app itself is frustrating to use. Then I get a spam email re Apple. to be from this company impersonated Apple since I just downloaded it.
