…with paying for it. But this update it the worst. Looking for other apps now. Crashes and so slow it makes working impossible.
I’m still processing my grief from way back when vsco discontinued their beautiful Lightroom presets (and clinging on to them as depended my life on them:-) But still in their new found form as more SoMe oriented tool I keep coming back to the beautiful look and feel of the film emulations lost in the digital era.
It’s a shame you can’t save the high res image with effects anymore
I really loved the app when it first came out. I had bought a couple of the VSCO Adobe Lightroom filter packs and bought some for this app as well. It was awesome, for a time. But more and more things moved behind a subscription wall. Today some of the essential features have been put behind the subscription wall as well, effectively making the filters I purchased unusable without also buying a subscription. I’m done sending money in the direction of VSCO and suggest you don’t do it either. - A now former VSCO user and customer for 10 years.
I don't use it anymore after what before was free now need a membership :/
For a long time I used VSCO for making all my stories on IG, but the latest update makes it so I can’t share my pictures, directly from the app without getting a watermark on it. This I think is ridiculous for a app I pay for, make it so the free version needs to be trade marked, but I don’t understand you need to, when you pay for the app.
…there’s always issues after new updates. You used to be able to edit a photo again after saving it to the camera roll. That’s not possible after the newest update. Can we get that back? Sometimes the option goes away after an update. It’s very useful if you post on instagram and use the app professionally. I’ll edit a photo for the feed, save it (ready to post) and re-upload it to my VSCO drafts - and crop so it fits stories as well. Now when I upload the photo again you’re not able to edit it again.
Giving it 1 star cos they just put a bunch of former free functions behind a paywall now 🙃 lmao not only have a bunch of filters gone into premium, grain too??? smh gonna find a diff app now.
The vsco app is slowly removing basic features and filters to push us to buy it… I Will find a new app from now on.
