CREATE THE ULTIMATE WARBAND
It’s your task as a collector to build your collection into an elite league of warriors capable of meeting any challenge. Equip your heroes with the ultimate gear, wrestled from the hands of your enemies, to enhance their attacks, armor, and abilities on the battlefield. Not every warrior is ideal for every task, however: Make key strategic choices in who to promote and pick teammates with complimentary abilities to maximize your chances in battle!

ENGAGE IN TURN-BASED BATTLES

I think this is the best warhammer 40K game. Of course if you spend your life savings you will get stuff easily, but you can enjoy it even if you don't spend money, you can unlock every character without spending a dollar, so it's really good

This game just consumes way too much time than it should. Collecting heroes is hard, develop every char is impossible. Too many game modes and too many things to do a day (can be more than 2hours). 
The main problem is that you need to repeat the very same, boring missions all the time, if you want to finish quests for rewards. For those you get absurd amount of tasks like kill 600 units, which is mot hard, just terribly boring griding (80% of it).
There are good game modes which are fun, but the game demands to do many, for every different type of tasks if you want to achieve something. It is a shame, that things like that ruin the experience so hard.

Tacticus based on the Warhammer 40k lore. It has not much about the storyline, but have many of the faction, charcters of the tabletop minifigure battle game.

It delivers the joy of collecting cards, there are constant, new character releases, variable ways of unlocking new characters.

It has a lot of game modes, including real pvp battles, but quest as well, where you have to figure out how to solve a map.

Developer constantly working on to deliver new content, providing the best and fairest game support I have ever seen.

I have been playing for 8 months, which was enough to unlock most of the characters, and get to the top arena league. Dont be affraid to join, you can catch up easily.

I have lost many matches because both me and my opponent could not move, however I only needed to step into a domination hex. I made many pictures. Also, when the eneny is in the upmost hex of the field, I cannot target it because the statusbar of my selected character folds it topmost.
