Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™

I think that it is quite a good game gameplay-wize, and I even understand the decision to make it so that you have to wait for salvage run and onslaught tokens; it’s because you’ve progressed too quickly and be far too powerful if you had unlimited plays. Believe it or not, it is possible to play without spending any money and being part of a guild helps. i’m actually okay with the slow progression, since you are able to build up to things and it feels better when you unlock something you’ve been trying to get for ages, but I can see why it would annoy some people.The one thing that I am a little bit put off by is the fact that A lot of the cool stuff is behind Pay walls, but this is mostly minor stuff like icons and things. Overall, I think that if you like Warhammer and mobile games, then you should at least give it a go and write a review since this game has a team that are always trying to improve the experience and let’s be honest, it’s Warhammer, of course they will try to get you to pay lots of money.

Fun game but the micro transactions are beginning to grate

The main campaign becomes impossible in the latter stages as you can’t promote your characters high enough without paying for it. All other campaigns require characters that you have to pay to unlock. You would need to wait months and months (whilst playing daily) to unlock them any other way. Unless you’re willing to drop silly money, don’t bother downloading this

Great game. Really fun to do guild raids with guildmates, arena is fun and salvage run and onslaught are also good as well. A couple problems though: 1. Why do you have to wait 12hrs to get one battle token? It ends up as the only thing you can do is campaign. 2. It gets really hard to upgrade your characters. First it seems nigh impossible to get enough badges to upgrade abilities more than one at a time and second you can never get the right pieces of gear because often the only places where you can find advanced gear is in levels that are too hard because you don’t have the right gear to upgrade your characters because the gear is in levels that are too hard… so it’s just a circle. Apart from that this game is really good, definitely not pay to win and all one-star-reviewers need to replay the game.

I have never purchased Warhammer and understand nothing about it and that remains unchanged. That said, this game is still awesome to play in its mechanics. I enjoy the wide array of different characters that I can choose between, with their own abilities to form a team. It’s clear there is replay value to level my team up to challenge for higher level rewards. The guild structure is great for fighting towards common goals co-operatively with other players, while Arena and Tournament PVP is there for the opposite. There are micro transactions but I’ve so far progressed well enough without needing to buy to win. There is ample opportunity and challenges to obtain in-game currency. The game is well designed, no bugs encountered and overall a 10/10.

Don’t get me wrong it’s a very fun game and you can sink some cash into to get the nice bits but WOW there’s a lot of down time. You can only essentially play the game for a maximum of 20 minutes a day which is diabolical when you consider how much they charge you to be able to do the things you want. You want to do the extra missions ? You pay a load of cash. You want to level up your guys ?? You pay a load of cash ! You want cool Characters? You pay a load of cash ! All for 20 minutes of play ? Come on now Tacticus you could be so much more, do the decent thing and speed up your play time and stop being greedy

Starts off seeming a great game but just turns into a paywalled bunch of garbage full of overpriced packages and dumb ads with it taking months to even unlock basic stuff and years to unlock characters fully, don’t waste your time. The pvp is garbage and always puts you up against people way more powerful meaning you have to spend to refresh to find decent opponents. They also never finish off factions they just start new ones halfway through doing the last lot they dropped. The shills who are giving 5 star reviews are either spending thousands or being paid off.

Great game has potential to be 5 Star it is only ruined by the Guild raids against “Rogal Dawns Battle Tank” any time its on there I just close the app now non of my guild mates or I will try again till its cleared. Such a poorly balanced set up

Great game absolutely destroys your battery. Also overheats your phone. Using 12 pro max have no issues with any other apps but this one seems a lot for the phone
