Tried Navionics Boating app this season, sailing on the North Sea and UK south coast. Found myself constantly going back to iSailor. AIS integration works much better. Including your own position. Can’t believe how poorly this is done in the Boating app. Chart display could really do with an upgrade, especially showing the wind farms when zoomed out for passage planning. The are all over the place nowadays. Thank you.
Very unsatisfied. Customer service doesn’t react. I spend €64 and it turns out to be impossible to restore our charts. Money thrown away.
All ready a long time professional user of at first Transas and later Wartsila products. Both the ISailor app which I use for route planning but also of the professional ECDIS systems. At least since last week 30/04/2024 the chart server is down. Charts can be ordered, paid but will not load to the IPad as when trying to download an error occurs (pls try download later). Tried to contact Wartsila but without avail. Meanwhile, besides not having the charts as requested, also the subscription time is counting down. Wartsila, pls correct the situation and get the chart server up and running again.
Issue: Don’t know why but ISailor Seems to fail to connect with an internet network. Not able to restore purchased cards or to add additional subscribtions wrt ais, tide and so on. Tried this with 2 different IPads, with the same results. I am a fan of this program and using it already for years. Now very worried. Is there an issue wrt the latest upgrade of IOS?
I bought a chart for €30. But is is not working. Support gives me an automatic ticket number, but does not react for weeks. Advice: do not not update your charts but search for an other app. Kind regards Martin.

Chart catalogue is not loading. Not possible to restore purchased charts.
Since 4 year we have to pay for updates which was ridiculous. Now updates are not possible and available anymore. Wärtsilä please supply chart updates or at least inform your customers, you are bringing ships in danger this way!
This app looks like it had been abandoned as it has not been updated for many years and now risks being removed by Apple. There are issues with updating maps with a valid subscription that have been known by the developer for almost a year but have not been solved. This used to be a great navigation app, but unfortunately I can no longer recommend it until it gets a much needed update.
In the Netherlands we have the Waddenzee, which is a “living area” with moving sandbanks. The charts haven’t been updated since 2 years. Also new windmill farm offshore is not on the map. What am I paying for
