WaPo Going Downhill Fast
The app itself generally works well. However, the Washington Post itself is going downhill fast in the age of Trump. Jeff Bezos, the owner, installed a conservative CEO, Will Lewis, and the rot started. Even the comments sections, formerly a pleasure to use, have been vitiated through the imposition of an appalling AI-based interface that most of the readership simply hates.
Go To
Thousands of miles away downunder 🦘🦘. WAPO’s my best source for following Mr.🍊’s second term.
Good for free
Yeah I’m not paying but I’m sure it’s good. I just you it for world news and it’s good enough.
Games don’t work in app
The chances of games working are 50/50, inc crosswords, and Wridges never downloads though the ads on the page always do.
Disappointing
Democracy dies in the dark when you can’t even promote one presidential candidate over another. Subscription cancelled.
Too long
There is too much irrelevant fluff in most articles. If you can’t say something in 500 words, perhaps 700 words, then you should write two articles.
New owner pls
Get a new owner and I will come back
Avoid this gutless wonder
About to drop my subscription. Months of reading about the massive threat to American democracy and the future of the planet posed by Trump in this shoddy journal, followed by its gutless refusal to endorse a candidate in the US election. Forget it.
Subscription cancelled
Failure to support democracy by Bezos my subscription is over
Not supporting Harris is supporting Trump
The Washington Post decision to be “neutral” displays a crude indifference to the people in America who have been vilified, abused and physically assaulted by the rise of the dumb dumb MAGA burn the house down party. Go flout your neutrality to your election officials who have been chased from their homes, to Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney.Go tell it to Nancy Pelosi who was the target of Trump’s bully boy banter. Or tell it to her husband who was hit over the head at aged 82. Maybe to the children who were separated from their families at your border. The Washington Post and Mr Bozo should hang their heads in shame.
