The crossword portion of the app is back to showing video adds anytime you navigate away, or even change apps. This is disruptive and infuriating. The app has also frozen and crashed when the screen is rotated, especially before play has started.

I was so angry at the Post’s apparent unwillingness to defy its supposed “hands-off” owner (and other lapses in covering the election) that I recently cancelled my digital subscription. No one at WaPo is familiar with the term ‘mobile friendly’. When one emails them about it, responses indicate they do not care. Also enjoy when the cost of a subscription doubles while you are subscribing. But unsubscribing cost nothing.
