Once great, now pathetic
After many years as a loyal subscriber I have cancelled my subscription because the Post has abandoned its principals and is now entirely devoid of integrity, to Mr. Bezo’s eternal shame.
Crossword showing too many ads, buggy
The crossword portion of the app is back to showing video adds anytime you navigate away, or even change apps. This is disruptive and infuriating. The app has also frozen and crashed when the screen is rotated, especially before play has started.
Comment Format
I hate the new comment format. I used to spend a fair amount of time reading the comments for every Carolyn Hax column but now it is just irritating. I still read her column but no longer get the enjoyment of the Hax reader community. Please revert.
Annoying new pop-ups
The latest update seems to have added new pop-up windows that interfere with what I'm reading. (And, yes, before you all chime in with "tighten you pr privacy settings", they are already screwed as tight as they'll go.) I don't need the WP to tell me what to read.

No more subscription for us : cancelled
Goodbye
I was so angry at the Post’s apparent unwillingness to defy its supposed “hands-off” owner (and other lapses in covering the election) that I recently cancelled my digital subscription. Democracy - it turns out - really DOES die in darkness. How ironic that WaPo should be the one to turn off the switch!
Not a good app for iPhones
No one at WaPo is familiar with the term ‘mobile friendly’. When one emails them about it, responses indicate they do not care. Also enjoy when the cost of a subscription doubles while you are subscribing. But unsubscribing cost nothing.
Very Disappointed!
It was unconscionable that Jeff Bezos failed to endorse Kamala Harris. NYT had the guts to do its job. NYTwill be my newspaper of choice going forward.
A Canadian Perspective
It’s sort of embarrassing that I, a Canadian living in Ontario, (that’s a Province in case you assumed that Canada has States) turns to the Washington Post for her world news. I should be referring to the Globe and Mail, the Canadian equivalent of the Post. But the truth is I love the Washington Post and I like the Glibe and Mail. Kudos to WP!
