Too many ads.

I used to love wattpad so much but since the update I don’t seems to like it anymore. I hate the fact that we need to pay just to have more books offline and that there’s too much ads on this app. Since there’s way too much ads I stopped using wattpad as one of my app to read .

I loved using wattpad years ago but changed my phone and did’nt download it again but when i wanted to do so by seeing all the negative comments due to the recent update...its a NO from me!! The app gonna lose a lot of readers thats for sure!!

I've been using Wattpad for a long time, and never stopped since, and so I witnessed every single update the creators did and let me tell you, the app gets worse the more you update it. It's started when they made a system to make money out of the books on it. First of all, who would afford to buy books written by teenagers with bad grammar and always the same plot when there are hard copies on libraries from real and great writers that are much cheaper? This made literally zero sense, and I'm sure others think the same way. Then another update where you could only read 2 books offline. I like reading in public areas where there is no wifi like on the bus or at school, so this one really irked me. I wasn't able to read my favourite books, and had to wait until I get home, with internet connection. Then another multitude of other updates that are utterly USELESS. The dark mode is stupid, the fact that they replaced the profile button to the search button was unnecessary because no one minded looking for the search bar and it literally made the app even more difficult to use. If you are reading this and haven't downloaded the app already, I suggest you don't. Apps like Inkitt and ao3 are way better and easier to use than Wattpad, if you want to work on your writing skills. Also there are so many restrictions with wattpad, for example, you can't make your profile 'aesthetically pleasing' due to the fact that it badly crops your covers and blur out your profile picture, and you can't add more than 20 picture in one chapter. Those should have been updated, but knowing the creators, they will probably make another update as useless and would make our lives as harder as their other ones did, if not worse.

Well I’ve had Wattpad for more than five years now and recently I took a break. When I started using it again I found out that it was updated and that I can read only two books online. And also we need to pay to read most of the books. I’m very disappointed with the new version of Wattpad and now I am uninstalling it. It is more affordable to buy hard copy books than paying for the stories.

Dear sir/madam, Its been a while since i stop using wattpad Due of my exams , then recently ive downloaded it. But the issue is that i cant use it while being offline, i cant read more than 2 books now when im being offline. So i think a hardcopy books is more practical than this apps. Sorry if i was being rude but i was very disappointed to see these changes.

Wattpad has helped me exploit my talent as a writer and gave me access to books which I never thought I would have bought. I really love this app.. it’s truly amazing.

Wattpad use to be so precious I’ve recently paused from using it for a while to focus on my life but as I came back I notice that only TWO stories are available offline because I dint pay for the must I say STUPID premium.it started with adds EVERY TEN MINUTES then the PAID Stories (defying the purpose of Wattpad) to now THIS? I do understand and all but soon Wattpad will be pointless because most of your audience is young and will not pay.

J’adore Wattpad mais la nouvelle version est vraiment pas top avec les livres qu’on doit rajouter hors ligne et le lire il y a que deux livre qu’on peut avoir hors ligne. Je préfère l’ancienne version
