Fed up

For at least the second time this year I can't update gas-prices "because I'm a baby-Waze'er"... I've used this app for probably a decade by now, this is just unexusably bad user experience.

Seriously?

Navigation is 5 stars. The rest? Not so sure. Discovered that history consisted of several hundred locations. Must be deleted one by one - "Select. Delete. Are you sure? Yes." Tedious work. Had to uninstall the app to get rid of history. A handful of places I could have kept was lost. Seriously? Before you decide if you should install Waze, take a good look at the information about you that is being collected. Goodbye, Waze.

Shortcut in everything

Waze is like a retired drug dealer. Always avoiding police, roadworks, traffic, motorways. It will find shortcut in everything.

User input makes it a unique navigator

Input provided by users themselves is what really makes Waze stand out from its competition. Works great on Apple CarPlay.

Absolutely horrendous

This app just doesn’t work. The map isn’t loading properly and everything is just super slow.

Nagging when connected to Tidal

Connected to Tidal, and now I get this «Listen to Tidal when you drive» banner EVERY time I launch Tidal. No way to disable. Disconnected Tidal from Wyze app to fix this - please remove this banner so that I mat connect Tidal again! … update: even disconnected, Wyze keeps displaying banners in the Tidal app!

Sleep mode hidden

What a great idea to tuck away the sleep mode in this new update! Finally it’s more dangerous to turn it on while driving. You obviously wanna gather as much data from users as possible, and this is a good way to keep them online and contribute to your data-trading business. That’s why there’s a “sleep mode” in the first place, otherwise quitting the app should be enough to go offline.
