Initially had my location very wrong but when I forced closed the app and reopened it had corrected that. So it seems you have a bug. iPhone XR iOS 13 ( latest updated ver). - 12/01/19 The app is perfect again ( glad you guys fixed the flickering radar ). Thanks :-) - connection error!!! Widgets and alerts work ok. Can’t get all the other info / radar shows North America and my GPS ( blue dot ) location. Restarted app / phone. Something out of whack. Lol. Great weather app otherwise:-) ?? - Fixed my issue. Had to go in location in app and tap it ( apparently was not synced ) and everything loaded properly. It’s a great app !!! Stay safe everyone!!! ###March 1/23. Great app. But since this last update the widgets are unable to load. Restarted app , location set is accurate for me. Cleared cache. iPhoneXR with latest iOS.#### Fixed widget!!! Had to edit/remove it , restarted phone , added widget. Loads ok now :) Jan. 1/25… Never upgraded. Happy way it is/was. Update is a painfull failure. Essantial is not there. You have to scroll scroll and scroll or completely read all the text sumary to get most of the info at least. In days prevision, when there is raining and snow, we need probability of it and amount of rain and snow. Same requirement for hourly graphical view. No one wants to read everytime long text for that. It must be visual and quickly access without a ton of scrolling. On the 1st page, a ton of mostly unusefull info that clutters the display instead of what really needed. No one want to see hours of sun rising and falling in proroty on 1st display, this is not essential for most of people. I can see in the 24hr scrolling snow with probability with no amount. On the summary for today, i want snow or rain probability and amount. Air quality used to much space is i guess mostly not used for most of people and should not be displayed front page instead of most essantial info everybody would used. Wouldn’t it make more sense to use that tab for weather watches, alerts and warnings? Or being able to add a marine weather tab or 2nd location something like that? I need the weather - I don’t time for ‘10 impactful weather stories’. And certainly don’t need that as a message the requires an unread message notification that won’t turn off. -- Sweet_Lorraine, 2024-12-21 ### ***-- "Annoying message feature spoils the experience" The app does what it is supposed to do: it gives you the weather forecast from Environment Canada. It also notifies about weather alerts like high or low temperatures, looming thunderstorms, high winds etc. what bugs me to no end is the message feature. There’s a screaming red badge with the number of unread messages. If you look at the list you’ll find an article about the end of the hurricane season which is not that critical for somebody living in the True North. There’s no way to opt out of that feature, when you delete messages they don’t disappear, when you open them then the count doesn’t go down. It feels like the intern who wrote this has left the development team and nobody dares to touch the feature. Feedback from inside the app goes into the nirvana. There was never a reaction or even acknowledgement. Perhaps this here might cause a change but I doubt it.
