** Update periods: City: 1-8 Day Forecast every 6 hrs, 1 Day Forecast every 3 hrs, Current Weather Info varies  between 30 min and 6 hrs, Radar: 5min (UK), 15 min (Europe), 1hrs (USA, Australia). Maps every 6hrs.  
** Timezone: 1. Location Forecast: local time at the forecast location 2. All other times according to the preset time for the device.

I wanted an app that gave me up-to-date information, particularly about frontal systems, since my work is critically weather dependent. Having used the Weather Online website, I spent my money on this app with some confidence.  (The website gives 3 hourly synoptic updates, as compared with 6 hours from the Met Office). The app misrepresents my position on the map by about 30 miles, which leads me to question whether the map overlays are positioned accurately.  Because the regional maps are preset, I am on the westerly edge of the map and cannot see oncoming weather from the prevailing direction.  I have to use the national chart, so I don't get the detail.  Frontal systems are not represented.  App deleted.

Yes the interface is old and clunky. Yes there are better looking weather apps but I keep coming back to this app especially to use the timescales radar images which really are an accurate way to predict when rain will pass over your location. Devs it just needs an overall facelift!

The app appears to give you the option of changes the units (knots, km/hr etc.) but what ever you set makes no difference to what it shows.
When setting the cities, if a town shares a postcode with another one it will both as being the same place!

Text and icons are just strewn down the left  1cm of the screen !!??
Totally unusable.
I have used the iPhone app for some time and the latest update appears to work fine on the iPhone !!??

At least then we can review what has always been a solid app and not just its current problems.
