Used to be a great app but in recent versions they seem to have completely broken the weather routing functionality, grib maps now move relative to the planet, and it’s not clear whether the data is for a different location or the data is misrepresented on the chart. In any event the result renders the function useless.

We have been using this app for the last few years whilst travelling on our boat. We started in California and sailed down the Pacific Coast of Mexico into the sea of Cortes then continued stopping many times along the way, down the Central American coast to Panama, through the canal and into the Caribbean and up the east coast of the USA as far as South Carolina. It has consistently given us accurate and reliable forecasts.
Now cruising the Mediterranean and still the best!

Update May 15
Having relied on this for several seasons in quite serious situations, am disappointed in the frequent "error 404" download messages. OK the wind function is working but as a sailor one is somewhat interested in the sea state, so when the wave function is non operable this app gets a downgrade to 3 stars 

Thought it was somewhat pricey & tried a cheaper grib app which was not outstanding. Have used this all the way round Sth Brittany from the Solent and found it surprisingly accurate. Glad I have it, would not wish to be without it now... Well done!

Update: July 2013. Another season reliable as ever...

Took this me across the Atlantic this time last year in ARC2014 and it proved an essential bit of kit. The ability to tailor the GRIB downloads (in terms of map size and data included) means we were able to get fantastic detailed charts mid-Atlantic via email over the satellite phone (I used the MailaSail email service for this; the files open straight out of your email program into WeatherTrack) . Now goes with me whenever I am sailing and I frequently use it for domestic forecasting all the time. Highly rated
