This is one of the worst websites for both writers and readers. Writers: Actually read the contract before signing. This is a money hungry company and to me it seems like the books are just a quick way for the developers to earn money. EVERYTHING costs way too much. Why would I buy something here when I can literally read it for free in another app? Everything is locked and the writers’ contracts sucks. A terrible company and a terrible app. Just download Wattpad

So there is obviously that 17+ restriction above but for those that didn't see it.. parents don't let your kids read from webnovel please! this platform is filled with novels filled with porn.
This app makes me only mad. I don’t mind paying a bit extra to the artists to read their work but the excessive amount of pop-ups, ads, notifications and whatever else you can throw on any user is extremely frustrating. Even when paying for premium you still get 4-5 ads and whatnot and if you aren’t careful what you click on there will be even more. Strong dislike, cancelled my membership and as soon as it expires this app will be deleted for good off my phone.
Locked chapters costs too much. Content is good, but can’t afford to pay over 100€ to read one story.
Translation business was a free thing supported by hobbyists with ads and donations. Then came webnovel and little by little the conditions became worse. Now they are intolerable and im going to stop this hobby... thanks
This app has amazing stories but they are not worth the money.I know that pirating is bad for the authors, but the app is so money hungry that it makes it impossible to read the full story.In time all the books get posted online for free; so if you really like a story but don’t have the money just go look up the books name online.chances are you will find a free version.If you have the money please support the authors. It will be a miracle if this review is allowed to stay up.
They need to raise max level from 15 to 20 feels like common sense!
