You can increase or remove these limits by becoming a Werdsmith member. Sync, backup and sharing features are optional, but require a free Werdsmith account.
If you choose to become a member, you’ll be charged through your iTunes account at the end of your one-week free trial period, unless you cancel your membership at least 24 hours before it begins. Your subscription will renew automatically, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage, upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription in the app's Settings or by going to your App Store account settings. Keep in mind that any unused portion of your free trial period is forfeited if you purchase a membership before the end of the trial. Very good.
I love it.
close to perfection, great for offline writing
I really love this app because it is an offline app that you can work in any time, it is easy to use. the formatting, especially in the free version can be tricky but you can use markdown to separate chapters and stuff. the downside is that once you hit a bigger wordcount it start to close doen sometimes (started noticing it after 50k). but, despite the fact that it closes on you I never lost more than a word, I have the syncing turned on so it never caused any problems. since I really got used to the app I would love to edit in it later but I don’t know how that can work out - since my main writing is done on an Ipad it is gonna be a bit clunky. I tried to log into the web version from a laptop but since that version is not supported anymore I couldn’t really do the things I needed there. If the web version let me use the sections I already marked in the file, and let me change the font size, I could easily do all that I need in one file.
Exactly what I needed
This is the only writing app so far that embodies exactly what I desperately needed to quickly write my thoughts down in the morning commute. Thank you!

This is a great app if you want to write a story. I usually use this for my warrior cat stories :D
Good but only one problem
The app is amazing and I have used it for a long time I just have one problem with it I just wish there was more free documents that you could use without getting premium in the app I mean I’m glad they go into the archives but in order to get it you have to put another one into the archives But overall it’s a really good app and i would definitely recommend

Exactly what I’m looking for in a writing app
Genuinely love this app
I love this app, especially since i’m writing a book and I don’t have to worry about a word limit. It’s useful, it’s free, and it’s very easy to use. It does have pro features that you have to pay for if you want them constantly at your disposal, but even with the free membership you can still use them, there’s just an extent. I’ve written lots of poems, lots of short stories, and i’m starting my very own book series. This app is great and has helped me so far to get started on that. The reason I’m not rating it five stars is that you still have to pay money for some things, but I have no bad words or any rude opinions on this app. If the creator of the app sees this (which I don’t really think they will 🤷🏼♀️), thank you for making this app.
The goods and bad’s
Well I like it but I do wish that every thing could be free. I mean I get it you guys want to make money. But I also want a cool writing format. And if you could like transfer things to this format that would be awesome! Because before I found this app I used the Notes app and a LOT well most of my story’s are on there and it ducks trying to rewrite everything. But that’s my main goal to get in this app. Still really wish that the ghost writer was free

I rlly like this app it’s amazing! I just wish we could share our work inside the app, like post it and then get reviews from online in the app. And so you could read others story’s for inspiration. That would be amazing and would make this app a 10/10
