I am PLATINUM! So I have to call in to select my seats? I can’t get through to an agent so I am stuck? This happens when I book in line, book through a westjet agent AND when my corporate travel agent books. This has been happening for a year, mentioned to several Westjet agents when phoning to change my seats, I fly almost weekly. Today not only could I not complete a checkin, but it also timed out trying to add a pass to apple wallet! (If your team doesn’t now how to speed this app up, please… hire some back end app consultants, there are ways to scale this!!) - functionality - great! Most of it is there, thank you for this!!! - UI - the change/manage flight seems to move around depending on where you are in the checkin process. Ie the link to select a seat moves pre and post check-in. Post checking there is a link, which doesn’t stand out very well about “managing current reservation ie adding bags or changing big seats” this needs to be cleaned up as it’s quite hidden and I hunt for it each time. - login/credential savings - since this last update the app doesn’t seem to save credentials. It keeps me logged in for 60-90 mins I think.. but when I go back I’m logged out. Hopefully a quick fix. —- Title: All the right functions, none of the speed I always appreciated the Westjet app for being ahead of Air Canada because of their app. However recent travel on both Air Canada and other international airlines has shown how slow the WestJet app is!!! 😭😭 The interface is great, but the speed is so bad.
