Windows App Mobile

Remote keyboard works fine on MacBook but not on iPad. Definitely something wrong with the iPad version.

As soon as the app icon updated to look like windows icon....... The app broke. I have several machines statically ip, passwords save that always worked for years and now fail. Re add did not fix. The error flashes less than second that it's a timeout finding it (lies), then it spins for 2 minutes more like it didn't just give up.. Great job! I'll probably get something third party now.

I am only able to connect when my iPad is connected to my work WiFi. If connected to my phone’s personal hotspot, or my home wifi, I’m unable to connect. My screen just circles forever saying it’s “initiating remote connection.” This isn’t very helpful considering I need to remotely access my desktop when I’m not near it. I love the graphics way more than trugrid, and love that it gives me a full screen, with hardly any lag, but again, the lack of connectivity is aggravating.

Can't search for Remote Desktop to find it. Also doesn't have good external monitor support.

I can't connect to my win PC by this app,but my phone in the same network could.There is some wrong with this app.

No matter what I have tried, I cannot get the keyboard to show up on the screen since changing over from RD app to Windows app… very frustrating…. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app to start fresh. Still doesn’t work.

I used this app religiously for my government work but the update from Remote Desktop to Windows App broke the log in process. I have posted on the Azure Desktop forum and the feedback mechanism for this app over six weeks ago. I have also emailed the developers directly but with no progress.

Of course Microsoft had to destroy a great product when rebranding remote desktop app to windows app mobile. What used to be a great app to connect to Linux and Windows systems remotely is now only useful for windows. Real bummer given Microsoft's previous commitments to supporting Linux in addition to Windows.
